Re: Fav Nile Delphi Mission?

I got to play “The Serial Gambit” with Greg Gorden himself as GM. I can highly recommend that one!

Re: Fires of Ra Discussion and Questions

“Wall-to-wall action” is definitely what I was going for there!

Where is your LGS?

Re: Aysle and the Ecology of Dragons

Maybe they eat precious metals? Gold, silver, platinum, bronze, with some metals being more "nutritious." That might explain the fire-breathing, which is useful for melting the metal for easier consumption. Although this idea breaks down if you try to view dragons as biological creatures w...

Re: Restrained & Active Defense

Currently there's no clear way (that I know of) to emulate those scenes where Jackie Chan gets grappled by Villain 1, yet somehow manages to redirect Villain 2's punch onto Villain 1. The best you could do is multi-action to a) break free, then b) maneuver, getting a "Player's Call" in the...

Re: Anyone else finding the Day 1 adventures easy?

I just had this thought of running a Day One adventure as a "funnel" in the manner of Dungeon Crawl Classics. You start with four random Core Earthers and then whoever survives becomes your campaign character.

Re: Anyone else finding the Day 1 adventures easy?

The only one I ever ran was Aysle, and nearly had a TPK just with the clockwork lions in scene 1. Then the crazy player characters actually attacked the dragon! It was all I could do to get them out of Trafalgar Square in one piece. The rest went off without a hitch.

Re: Aysle Preview #10 - When Cosms Collide

Funny, my group back in the oTorg days loved the Nile Empire so much we rebooted our campaign to have Terra be the invaded world! Anyway, Acts 1 —> 2 and 2 —> 3 of Fires of Ra flow into one another, but you might be able to build in a break soon, especially after act 4. As for the Eye of Sebek, if y...

Re: Free RPG Day 2019!!!

I'd thought of that, too, and it would be a great product on the Infiniverse Exchange (if it hasn't been done already), but the advantage of using actual Drama and Destiny cards is that it gives potential players a better idea of the game, how those cards look, and how they enhance the gameplay imme...
