Re: Rangers in TDE?

Again: in the TK campaign, mostly. It's a rough, densely overgrown mountain range full of supernatural beings, spirits and witches. It's (almost?) impassable, and many who tried to cross it towards the Riesland did not return.

Re: Rangers in TDE?

There is, but only towards the end. Some basic facts maybe? The Order of the Ram mans some castles and keeps alone the easternmost border of the Bornland - and civilization itself. It's members are (mostly) graduates from the bornish warrior academies, as they have to serve at least one year in the ...

Re: Degrees of Failiure?

To me its interesting what attribute failed. Does he lack the strenght to climb up or doesnt he even have the courage to go on. That makes enough of a difference to me. Re: new playable races?

Keeping in mind which races have been playable in the other versions, I'd say:
Humans
Elves
Dwarves
Orks
Goblins
and
Lizardmen/Achaz

will be the playable races again. At least, the focus will be on them, of there are even more exotic ones coming as a supplement one day I can't say.
