I was totally waiting for that. Not willing to do it myself, mind, but waiting for it.

Re: Dynamic Map Question

Only because I then can't get that stupid song out of my head. :|

Re: Aysle Timeline

On an unrelated note, currently in the middle of planning a London trip in late May. Loved it so much we're going back because we didn't allow enough time the first trip. Kind of amusing going back and forth between looking at Torg sites and looking for convenient hotels.

Re: Aysle Timeline

Lived 5 minutes from Heathrow for over 40 years, there's nothing "iconic" about the buildings at all, sorry. But don't forget that there's always London City Airport, right in the, er, City... You know, it honestly never occurred to me that there might be other airports actually in London...

Re: Aysle Timeline

Current plan: the Delphi Council (London headquarters in the Ministry of Defense on Whitehall) blocked off a section of the M4 at Osterley Park, cleared and filled in the median, and is using it as a runway. It's a reasonably wide, straight section of freeway that's far enough from proper buildings ...

Re: Aysle Timeline

But, given that it's a major international travel hub, isn't there a good case for it being a HP in its own right? *shrug* I wouldn't think so. It's really just another airport, albeit a large one. It's pretty much like any other airport, with no particular cultural significance or emotional invest...

That's what I was thinking as well. Provisions for alternate facilities shall thus be undertaken. Thanks!

Re: Aysle Timeline

One question if I may, that might affect what I'm plotting right now. London is a hardpoint, but Heathrow Airport is rather a long way from the heart of the city. Is the hardpoint large enough to encompass the airport? Or are the terminals now home to Tumnus and Mr. Beaver?

Re: Blast From The Nippon Tech

My players have spent the last couple of months rampaging through Tokyo and are currently in the process of semi-destroying the Sumitomo Fudosan Roppongi Grand Tower (granted Tharkold got there first, but still...) So, yeah, sorry about the mess...

Re: Designer Diary: The Nile Empire Part 2

I think the Scholar skill seems perfectly appropriate. It's not like they're actually scientifically researching the question - they're meditating over a magic hip bone. If you have five adds in Science but scoff at those silly liberal arts, this might not be the method for you. So for me, anybody ...
