Re: damage chart after the TORG AMA

I believe oTorg used fps+1 to derive damage values for firearms. I have not checked to see if that still applies. My understanding is that it was the speed in meters per second (or per round, whatever was the standard speed scale in oTorg) times the weight of the bullet. I.e Force = Speed x Mass. (...

Re: Extra Dice in the shipment

In case you missed it, Torg Eternity products went up on our webstore this weekend: http://www.ulisses-us.com/product-category/torgeternity/ Are physical copies only available from the American site? Was thinking the postage to the UK would be cheaper via your German store. Or will copies be for sa...

Re: Game Speed

One comment which I've had from all my players, independently, is that in TorgE it feels like the combats (& the game in general) moves a lot faster, & is a lot more absorbing, than our previous games (10 years of Exalted 1st Ed, followed by 1+years of Exalted 3rd Ed.) There's still a bit o...

Re: Favored Skills and Mishaps

I'm eager to see the response to the first question. In regard to the second, I've assumed that the scenario you imagine (the possibility of turning a miss into a Mishap) is the correct ruling according to RAW. That has, though, discouraged a lot of use of Favored skills, essentially causing player...

Re: Favored Skills and Mishaps

Question, when, exactly, can the Mishap range be anything other than just 1? I know the rules under Mishaps say "Some situations might expand the range of Mishaps, such as 1–2 or even 1–4" but I can't recall actually reading anywhere in the rules where it is. Under Rapid Fire it describes ...

Re: Interaction attacks using other skills (sort of)

I had a player just do this naturally the other night. The Apostate Church Policeman had just given a very nasty shock and wound to a villain with his stun baton. So, the Aylish Mage says he's going to use a little Alteration magic to make his staff crackle like the shock stick did, in order to Tric...

Re: Poison & Soak

...applying a tourniquet and/or sucking venom out of wounds seems to go a long way in the cinematic genre, (even if it's maybe not so effective in RL.) Cinematic yes, so I agree about not being harsh with the penalties, but I believe totally wrong in real life. If memory serves a tourniquet just co...

Re: Does the Armor Spell stack with physical armor?

Armor does not stack with dermal implants, the descriptions of the implants themselves state that clearly (both Cyberware and Occultech versions). Yes. You're right. I went back and re-read the thread about stacking internal and external armour. I remembered reading it all, but my brain kindly reve...

Re: Can you combine combat options?

I think of doing called shot and all out as playing baseball and swinging for the fences. You are carefully and precisely hitting a small target (baseball-sized, duh) moving up to 100 MPH but swinging as hard as you can; so hard that it can possibly spin you around and you might even fall over (whi...
