Re: Alcohol in the Living Land

Alcohol should be common in the living land because of the high "spirit" axiom.

Possible source of more character/monster tokens

There's a Kickstarter that is on right now for epoxy/resin character and monster tokens of a similar style to the ones coming from Ulisses. One of the neat features is that there will be a few ways to upload art that you have the rights for and have custom token made. This might be a good way to mak...

Re: Questions about Actions during Disconnection

I was looking at this thread and I was surprised that nobody mentioned another thing, and now I'm wondering if I am wrong. If a knight from Aysle fires an M16 in Core Earth, they can disconnect. It's a one-case contradiction. If they have disconnected, the M16 is supported by the cosm, but not their...

Re: Hi Social, Low Tech - trying to grok the cyberpapacy

It's hard to translate storage numbers from the Cyberpapacy anyways, since everything is in Trinity instead of binary.

Although some of the cyberwitches use hex.

Re: Hi Social, Low Tech - trying to grok the cyberpapacy

After reading this thread, I'm visualizing the godnet's information/communications system as being like Facebook or Twitter. With no Google. So even though all the information is on there, it's not organized or very well directed. So a cyberpriest might notice a security breach, and add it to his pr...

Re: Relics of Power Survey?

Orrorsh definitely does; it's actually specifically mentioned at Tech 17. I can't imagine a Victorian realm without a railway train. You can find them in Sherlock Holmes stories (cf "The Adventure of the Bruce-Partington Plans"), Dracula , a bunch of places, That's what I figured, but I d...

Re: Relics of Power Survey?

I already had Space God's by the time I got to run the original trilogy. One of my players played a Martyr card to defeat Mainwaring and I let him take one of those who wait as his replacement. Unfortunately, it wasn't as awesome as it should have been. The martyred character was from Orrorsh so I b...

Re: Relics of Power Survey?

I am curious how much inter-cosm train travel would make sense in Torg E. My initial thought was "not much" but Tharkhold, Cyberpapacy, and Pan Pacifica all have something resembling normal international relations and the technology and geography to justify trains that go in and out of th...

Re: How much does an 'Up' do?

Jumping on this late with two minor comments.

On a round with fatigue, it particularly thematically works for me that playing a flurry card fatigues you more.

On a round with confusion, you can't play flurry so asking if confusion applied on the flurry round is moot.

Re: Rules Clarification on Dilemmas

I was busy for a lot of the end of July and early August and following the boards less closely. I actually missed the design diary about DSRs and had a moment of "But Deanna said..." so I came back here and reread what Deanna actually said and it's all good. But I read a few later comments...
