Re: Things you'd like to know about Core Earth

Action Movie tropes suggest the following: Every major police force has at least one infamous maverick cop or buddy cop duo that blow up buildings and cars fairly frequently.... All police departments have discount cards at the local coffee and doughnut shop. Probably arranged by the Union rep... :...

Re: Things you'd like to know about Tharkold

Sure. I mean, that sort of stuff I can figure out myself. But transmission of viruses, what information can be scraped, who can attack whom and how, can Kanawa attack Core Earth with stuff within our axiom that we haven't figured out (as Core Earth does with the Nile), all that kind of thing, I'd l...

It's not a mistake it's proof of a first edition collectable.

Re: Mining for Ideas - Tharkold game shows

Not quite Tharkold (But with a few more whizzing blades could be easily converted) but I have a vision of Ninja Warrior in my head, the original Japanese one with more comedy contestants than the US & UK versions. You have two teams. The Pan Pacifica one full of actual Ninjas who can do the cour...

Re: What do you want to know about the Cyberpapacy

How about the Channel Tunnel? It fits both Asyle (tunnel underground) and Cyberpapacy (high tech rail system) axioms so how the mixed zone has affected it should prove interesting. Is it a way for the two sides to infiltrate each other or have they set up heavy fortifications around it, whether to s...

Re: Aysle Pledgemanager is Active

Having had a look on the kickstarter comments thread I have to agree with you. $1 is neither here nor there but some people appear to have been stung by bigger fx movements and there are a lot of Americans who are not used to having to pay in a currency other than dollars. The rest of us are a bit m...

Re: Aysle Pledgemanager is Active

So why not use GoT for crowdfunding and as pledge manager? Shifting crowdfunding platform while halfway through their run of cosm books feels a bit more risky than sticking with Kickstarter. A lot of us are comfortable with KS and even though we have GoT accounts now are more likely to back on the ...

Re: Aysle Pledgemanager is Active

Did anyone else get an odd balance when paying postage?

My pledge was only out by $1 so not fussed but I was wondering if the shift between my currency (£), the kickstarter currency (€) and the pledge manager currency ($) was shifting even after the kickstarter locked and the funds were transferred.

Re: Things you'd like to know about Pan-Pacifica

So not just about locations this time. Ahem, I am interested in the Yakuza/Triads/[insert other mafia here] and their response to Kanawa. The core book mentions that they are opposed, but is this on an ad hoc basis, a combined fight back or a part of the original mission of the groups to prote...

Re: Tell me of your Core Earth characters

My group has two characters who are Core Earth. Though the Pan Pacifica character also acts as if she is from CE, as they are still unravelling the Kanawa invasion there. The last mission they ran has pretty much pushed the DC from wariness to active opposition now however. Leesa Feng An Internation...
