Re: Forum will be sunsetting...

Mainly Discord and Facebook, but they also said that there would be more long-form answers on their website.

Re: Forum will be sunsetting...

Basically the forums are too much hassle in terms of maintenence and moderation when US is focusing its attention on other social media channels.

Sounds like a decision from on high rather than the local product teams.

Re: Forums are Sunsetting, Discord is rising

If there isn't anything quite suitable (and Orkenspaltter is an option, though it is more focused on the main German company) we could always found a new forum.

There are enough super fans here to provide the nucleus of an administrator/moderator team after all.

Re: General Error Max Users

I've found hitting refresh a few times eventually let's me on.

Though I agree that the server capacity probably needs boosting. Especially if there are new crowd fundings coming up.

Salutations from the Sceptered Isle

Given that US appears to be preparing to get the ball rolling on Fading Suns in 2020 I thought I would pop over from the TORG boards now. Fading Suns was the first proper Sci-Fi game I got into (Bubblegum Crisis doesn't really count) back in the 90s. Along with Dune, which I know FS owes a large deb...

Re: Fires of Ra Discussion and Questions

A question: In the Eye of Sebek room, I understand how the trap works and how the players are supposed to use the hieroglyphics to figure out the correct path through the tiles, but ... how do they know where to start? The gems describe the relative direction of the next step, but it's not clear to...

Re: My very first Torg purchase

Yup, I remember those ads like yesterday, that's what got me hooked :D We played a number of other games, but those first Torg campaigns were the best. Relics was such a great introduction to the setting, and everyone loved the Drama Deck ... and my players hadn't yet started to game the system :lo...

Re: Cyberpapacy Crowdfunding Launches on November 11

One of the things that has struck me about the figures on the CP funding is that the amount pledged has held up ($135k current to $170k total for Asyle, I know postage could have an impact) but the number of backers is way down. (707 to 1156 Asyle total) That suggests that the bigger backers going f...

Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook!!

I'm most interested in the locations and characters in the occupied territories. The axiom change in the LL basically chased most people out, the one in the NE actively changed peoples beliefs. The CP prepared people for the second coming more than the others it seems but without the NE mind alterat...
