Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes
Truly? Might I ask, then, why you're not complaining that they're all so perfectly shaved? Those girls glisten . That doesn't seem realistically primitive to me. They should all look a lot more like that Primitive Warrior, especially on the legs and armpits. Not going to lie - it's not the way I'd ...

Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes
The Primitive Warrior in the Living Land Archetypes is a hirsute fellow wearing less than Leena. In the Aysle archetypes, the Barbarian and the Berserker are both very buff men showing a lot of skin, and it would seem very odd if they weren't, considering their concepts. Torg Eternity does diversity...

Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes
Maybe I'm getting old, but all the shaming on places like BoardgameGeek is getting bizarre. The only thing I care about is i f it makes sense . The Living Land is supposed to invoke all those Lost World tropes, and it's a staple for men and women to wear loincloths and skimpy attire. Heck, the origi...

Re: Telekinesis errata
What would most GMs here do if they had player who asked to rebuild their PC who was built off of TK? Allow it? or them's the breaks? Ignore the canon debuff. While I completely understand why games rules require a certain degree of tinkering as time goes by and issues come to light, player groups ...

Re: Pacifist Companions and attacks
Feels like you're overthinking this.
'Pacifist' doesn't apply to other Pcs, so why would it apply to NPCs?

Re: Bulletsmith is contradictory, but when?
I always rule in favour of 'no contradiction' because it's more fun for the players to use their iconic gear. Where's the fun in carrying a backup weapon? So a pulp hero who can fly? Yeah, that's a contradiction. The guy with the panther? A panther isn't a contradiction as and in itself, so every ti...

Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes
Coming to the end of the process of my Backer Archetype creation w Darrell, I am really stoked to see what everyone else came up with. Mine's a Core Earth born (no such thing in our games!) young wealthy heiress with money-related perks. Darrell (who is always super-helpful with the process) sugges...

Re: House Rule: Alternate Perks
But also, let me bring up a few Perks: Strong Willed Survivor Brute In any Scene in which a character with one of these perks does not have to test Defeat, the perk was 'Wasted XP'. That's not a fair equivalence. The perks you list are insurance perks - they help against something that might happen...
