Dallas-Fort Worth was *not* destroyed

***BEGINNING TRANSMISSION*** Just needed to correct a couple points from the most recent broadcasts. Mainly - Dallas-Fort Worth was not destroyed. Mostly because Dallas-Fort Worth is not a place. Never has been. Two whole different cities. Fort Worth is Fort Worth, and Dallas is Dallas. Or at least ...

Re: Transformed humans in the Living Land

Yeah, the Outsider quality pretty much embodies the hardships the edeinos have to face. And it can get much worse, depending on how much of an allegory to real-life atrocities you want. You could retell the woes of African decedents in 19th- and 20th-century America. Or the internment of citizens o...

Good to know. I might have one in my upcoming campaign, but if I'm going to write an adventure for the Infiniverse Exchange, I want to stick to canon.

So, with the usual caveat that you can do whatever you want with your game, officially there aren't 'weak' points. Where does canon stand on the idea of Hard Points with no inner Dominant Zone, like my plans for CE sites in Aysle which have strong mystical associations? (i.e. they just exert a Mixe...

Hard point, sure, but what about a weak point?

I'm working on a story and adventure idea, and have a question I wanted to bounce off the collective. So, if there are hard points, where the old reality is more firmly established, could there also be a weak point? I'm thinking an area that has some affinity with an invading cosm - maybe an area of...

Re: The Kickstarter poll is up

I voted for #1. I love keeping the meta campaign dynamic, but I think it's too early to start shifting something as basic as an axiom level. The Living Land books haven't even been released yet. I'd like a chance to use them for a while before any changes this major. Maybe after Year One is complete...

I wonder how they are received. What do local, native Core Earthers think of their new neighbors?

How many players

Not *exactly* a rules question, but, I'm in the process of building a group here in Austin. How many players do folks think would be the best number for a party? And, what's the minimum that you think would be workable? Has anyone tried playing with one-on-one? It's not ideal, clearly, but just wond...
