Evans repeating rifle

There are several historical Core Earth weapons (or gear, in general) that could be reproduced for use in Cosms with lower a Tech Axiom that have some advantage over the typical equipment available in that Cosm. Here is one example. *** The Evans repeating rifle and carbine were lever-action weapons...

Re: Faith & Transformation

Axiom Increase on the other hand is pretty useless. Going from a 10 to 11 does pretty much nothing. You’d have to buy the Perk numerous times before it matters and that’s a massive waste of XP. A +1 to the Magic Axiom would give a CE character access to 6 more spells, which is not useless. Edit: lo...

Re: Faith & Transformation

I don’t think axiom is a strict limit, though. A Pulp Sorcerer can learn invisibility, which is above the Nile Magic axiom, and several Core Earth faiths have miracles on their list that are above Earth’s axiom. Good point. Nothing says you can’t take it, just that it’s a contradiction. So if you d...

Being hollow-boned would partly offset that. Also, the wings themselves look easier to damage than bird or bat wings.

I do, however, strongly recommend this show.

Well acted, well scripted and good set design, but thoroughly depressing.

Carnival Row

Could we take this as a long-term Asyle/Orrorsh mixed zone? :)

Re: Not so final frontier?

Will this be a replacement for Space Gods? ;)

More seriously, I could see a few pages (short pdf?) added to allow the setting to be used as an unofficial cosm for TE.

Re: Too Much Tactical Analysis

One simple solution is to limit the amount of time a player has to determine his actions for his turn. Ten seconds seems appropriate. This may need to be shorter or longer for some groups.

Re: Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China

One thing to consider is that Jack isn't the hero of the movie, he's the hero's sidekick.
