Re: Rerolls and FtP

It´s understandable for a +400 page rulebook to have some errors that need to be addressed and corrected, but mostly those should by typos. Sure, a wrong word here and there, a missing dot or letter, and even some rules in need of some clarification, but 7 pages of them?!?! REALLY?!?! The PDF docum...

Re: Questions on more character options!

Short answer: You backed the right game if you want more options. You will get them in spades. I don't know how fast Ulisses will translate all that stuff but they are doing the German translation of Pathfinder and when I last looked they had translated a shit ton of stuff. So my guess would b...

Re: PDF Error Collection Thread

And I think the English version is correct now(?). It says one step for every level, what is also said on page 32. In the German version it says 2 steps, but the example is like it is one step. I doubt it. My pre errata German print version says one step. My after errata German PDF says two steps. ...

Re: Rerolls and FtP

If you take a look at the number of errors already identified in the related topic this is really starting to worry me. The errors are just too many and varied in scope and type, from typos to wrong terminology, wrong scale of effects, wrong targets or subjects which a given rule refers to, example...

Monday, June 13 is the time were the book goes to the printer. I already linked this thread to the errata thread so maybe we get lucky.

page 248 Inured to Encumbrance

Seems to be the old pre errata version of the German rulebook.

Also the example is wrong, In both the English and the current German version.

Re: PDF Error Collection Thread

@Eric USNA Perhaps the editors might find this thread http://www.ulisses-us.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=57 in the rule discussions sub forum interesting as well about the naming of "reroll" and "retry" Not really a error but it might still be helpful to increase understand...

The designers seem to agree. I loved that table on page 392. A nice and practical little touch. :)

Re: PDF Error Collection Thread

I will try to answer some of this. I think you fell prey to a somewhat unfortunate wording here that also was in the German version. Page 44. In the box "All attribute packages already include racial modifiers". Not sure if this is an error or me misunderstanding how it works but how can i...

Agreement here. TDE is a rather rules heavy game and small stuff like this just makes sense to make it more manageable. They did that with a number of needlessly complex stuff from the mess that 4E TDE often was.
