Re: The Infiniverse is Live!

In my defense, I've yet to run an actual session of the game, but I know how difficult it used to be. Frankly, if Glory is easier to achieve in the new rule set, that might be the answer I, and so many others, are looking for.

Re: The Infiniverse is Live!

Thank you for the answers, sir, but I have to take exception with one... 3. Possibilities work pretty different this time around, and we don't want players/GM to have to track levels all throughout a game. Tracking the Glory results plus response statistics fills a similar role in Eternity. Glory re...

Re: The Infiniverse is Live!

Yes, having some instruction on using Google Maps with the new Torg map -which looks phenomenal, by the way- would be pretty nice, please?

Greetings From Washington State - the Seattle Zone

...or, what will soon be the Seattle zone. My name is Paul, and I have played or run Torg since I picked up the first box set in '90. Indeed, to the best of my recollection, this is the first role-playing game I ever ran, and my players and I enjoyed it a great deal. I am fully supportive of this to...

Re: The Infiniverse is Live!

I'm loving what I'm reading about the Infiniverse, and I'm about to go and play with the tools, but would it be possible to have a few more specifics? 1. Will posting results of an adventure be based on the adventure time-line set by UNA? Or, will we be allowed to run UNA-sanctioned, but not time-li...

Re: Preview #3 - Characters

Personally, I disagree with you on almost every aspect. I don't think you do... you didn't hit on all of the points I made that were most important to me. However, since you and I have both been in the Torg community for a very long time, I'm going to leave this one alone, agreeing to disagree. I l...

Re: Preview #3 - Characters

Yeah, no. I am beginning to drift, here. I am seeing changes that I do not see as good, positive changes; changes that I don't like because I remember the reasoning that came about as a result of these odd, very Torg-esque game systems. Torg is being 'normalized', becoming just like every other RPG ...
