Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes

It's the whole concept of "Lolita". It's awful and we need to stop throwing that word around as if it's OK. I know it's drifted a bit from its origin, but what it still means is still deeply wrong. There's a cultural misunderstanding going on here. In Japan, the term 'Lolita' has nothing ...

Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes

Well, that's fair, I probably should have quoted. The Rockabilly Bosozoku sounds fantastic. It's the whole concept of "Lolita". It's awful and we need to stop throwing that word around as if it's OK. I know it's drifted a bit from its origin, but what it still means is still deeply wrong. ...

Re: Skeleton Warriors Stats?

Ooh, the site seems to be working right now! Let's see if I can get this through. 8-) So, as kind of an aside, I do agree with Atama that Bursts should kind of count as Area Effects. Long Burst, at least. But I'm not sure "I wish a Chaingun worked on Skeletons" specifically is really all y...

Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes

Well, that's certainly a good segue to talking about how women are represented in gaming over to the Setting side of things, as pkitty suggested...

Re: Increase Axiom

I definitely feel a conflict between what makes sense for the game (where I like the idea of Increase Axiom being useful for all four Axioms) and what makes sense with the world (where I totally agree with FrankG.) I don't see any way to do both, and I don't fault the devs for picking the latter. I ...

Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes

(not trying to have a beef with you, utukushi, I think you're one of the best posters on here) Thank you, and likewise! I think it is, as Gargoyle just showed beautifully, totally possible to see things differently without having any beef. Heck, we could go totally vegan. ;) My point was that it ma...

Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes

Does this include apportation spells that are on a different Cosm list? That seems super.. if you'll forgive the term.. fuzzy to me. The general rule is that everyone only has access to their own Cosm list, so I'd generally assume not - but it also says, as you say, "any", and Ancient App...

http://www.ulisses-us.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3975&p=40891 ...Was the original discussion, and Deanna even mentioned that we'd see it in Heroes. I'd forgotten, but going to look, sure enough, it's in Tech, because I suppose where else would it go? But personally I like this idea. I un...

Re: Vow of nonViolence

Totally agree that the -2 line would have worked better in the second paragraph, where it's talking about the character making attacks. But the wording about using it after an opponent has rolled an attack... that seemed clear to me. That's why Opponent Fails is actually an Errata and not just a cla...
