(Ah, the cosm I rarely remember how to spell.)

Easy way to remember: start with Horrors and then move the H to the end.

Re: Aysle Timeline

Lived 5 minutes from Heathrow for over 40 years, there's nothing "iconic" about the buildings at all, sorry. But don't forget that there's always London City Airport, right in the, er, City... Speaking of which, I'm hoping the book will have some stuff on the weirdness that is the City of...

Re: Why be a non "Magic"-person from cosm X?

I think it's a bit odd to allow Reality perks for the Core Earther as "non-supernatural", but not the Ki perks for Pan-Pacifica. We're talking pretty standard martial arts-movie stuff, not the really out-there stuff going on in games like Feng Shui.

Re: Informal preview of the Secrets of the Nile Empire and Religions of Core Earth PDFs

Funny, that was the exact image Deanna shared for how to have a proper zeppelin aircraft carrier without it dangling precariously from guywires. Why the deck-on-top design didn't become popular in the Real Life? Was the deck too heavy? Did it make the airship prone to capsize? (Knowing that l...

Re: The benefits of interaction attacks during multi-action

I'm assuming this applies to the whole attack, not just the attack roll? For example, let's say the Black Knight is fighting some lurkers. The Black Knight is from Aysle, and has the Critical Strike perk. Can he use Intimidate to make a lurker Vulnerable, and then declare his attack a Critical Strik...

Re: Pickpocket Rules

For the record, oTORG had a Prestidigitation skill that could be used unskilled. The DN was the target's Perception (=Mind in TORGE) or Find, and you needed a Good success to lift the item unnoticed (otherwise you would lift the item but the mark would notice - although a Good success was only a mar...

Re: Torg Pronunciations

I am aware of at least one person who pronounced it "eye sleigh" I mean, I can see "Aysel", but "eye sleigh" just sounds wrong. Aysel, rhymes with hazel? Sort of. But I was thinking more along the lines of how "hassle" or "measles" are pronounced.

Are there people who pronounce it differently?

Re: Why does taking the same arcane perk just give +1 ability?

Yeah, we did the math. Psionics have sort of the same issue, but I don't mind it so much there because there's a stronger tradition of psychics being limited to one category of stuff they can do. That kind of makes me think that what's bothering you here isn't really what you think it is, though. T...
