Re: Spell and Miracle perks underwhelming?

Was there a specific deign reason why mages/psis/priests would now have a much smaller pool of powers than before? To me, having more options doesn't make a character intrinsically more powerful, it just gives them more choices really. Many spells are kinda specific anyway and won't see a lot of us...

Re: Cyberpapacy Beyond the Core Rules

Another interesting idea is how the axiom wash of the Cyberpapacy has an effect on the preexisting Core Earth computer networks. If the GodNet absorbs say a French server of a fantasy or science fiction MMORPG, would elements of that game possibly pop up in the GodNet itself or projected as hologra...

Will that adventure be publicly available post-GenCon, or is it GenCon exclusive?

Re: Multi-Action and Multi-Targeting

In the “Torg: Revised and Expanded Rules”, there is an example, of using the One On Many chart, that involves Quin swinging across a ravine on a rope while shooting two shocktroopers. The modifiers were DN+2 for swinging across the ravine, DN+4 for shooting the first shocktrooper, and DN+6 for shoo...

Re: Resetting vs. refreshing Possibilities at the start of an act.

Sorry, yes. At one point it was refresh but now it's reset. So if you have more than 3 you go down to 3. I haven't read the whole book yet so it's possible that some later part of the book clears it up, but on page 68 it says "Those who have more than three [possibilities] don't draw, but don'...

I thought his name was Stealthy?

You're right, I misremembered. Mea culpa.

Sure there is: time and travel. In some cases it's a matter of hours, in others days. That's enough to get out of "emergency mode" and return to a "steady state" of X possibilities.

Re: Preview #9 - The Drama, Destiny, and Cosm Decks

This may not be a direct reply to my comments, but for clarification, this is why I suggested a soft cap for resetting down, rather than a hard cap of 6. If you think about the Act ending, say, at the point when you've finished climbing up/down a cliff to arrive at a location, or even immediately f...

Re: Preview #16 - A Closer Look at Perks (Part 2)

You won't have a problem then with TorgE. This comes at the expense of not having a defined power design system at present. Powers do what they do (a water breathing spell will let you breathe water, a spell to move boats without wind will move up to a size X boat, etc.) and the answer to power ble...
