Re: Table Tents and Archetypes for KS backers!

Re: Favorite Cosm (Original and Eternity)

Oh and since no one has mentioned it, I always thought the home cosm of the Ravagons was pretty neat and wish that THEY could have invaded somewhere.

Re: Conjunction + Heretical magic

On the other hand, one of the points of having cosm cards is as a means to enforce the world laws. Which would imply that the Heretical Magic card is a manifestation of the Law of Heretical Magic. And thus is suppressed.

Like I said, I could make an argument either way

Re: Move/Grid

I just change the scale a bit and make each square 1 meter. And I steal a rule from 3rd edition D&D that every other diagonal counts as 2 meters.

Yes it was.

Was the purpose to make it very, very likely that (assuming 4 or 5 players in a game) that it will come into play at least once?

Re: Least Glorious Glory Cards

Had someone be able to play a glory card for rolling some insanely high number while reconnecting one time. At the end of a fight when the others were pretty much just mopping up anyway. Yep, buddy, you really, really, really, really, really, really reconnected to your own reality, just in time to s...

Re: Clearance Level and XPs

Part of me thinks 5 XP per act is a little fast, if you assume each act = 1 play session and you play once a week, that means you reach Beta clearance in 2 1/2 months of play. But the other part of me thinks its bowing to a sad reality in gaming is skewing older these days and a game like Torg is li...

Re: Clearance Level and XPs

That's how I thought it was supposed to work. But some of the conversation in this thread made it sound like that 5XP was some sort of group pool and I wasn't sure if I was misinterpreting the rule or the conversation in this thread. Glad to hear its the latter.

Re: Clearance Level and XPs

Okay, now I am confused So if "The grou" gets 5 xp at the end of an act, how does any individual go up. Do they divvy up those five points between them? Accumulate them in a pool then the group decides how and when any given member gets to pull out points to advance? A rule that once seeme...
