Otherwise you just go back to the 'it doesn't work for you' aspect of a contradiction involving a disconnected individual. However, the key is that it's the person who's disconnected, not the thing. If the villains go first and you say 3 of them are shooting at the Priest then he can say he's going Active Defence for that round. But what if the hero's go first? The Priest decides to Bless the party. Then the villains go and 3 of them shoot at the Priest. So he's screwed. I see two ways to deal ...

I'm tempted to house rule that each add in Languages adds that many languages. So +1 = 2 Languages total, +2 = 3 total, +3 = 6 total, etc.... Thoughts? Seems like a bit too many. Maybe allow a choice of a new language at each new add, and your ability with them all increases. So Language +1 1 means...

And are those magic sneakers a 1-point contradiction for the Core Earther even while in Aysle and other cosms with a magic axiom of 13?

And a 4-point contradiction for that Core Earther everywhere else? Not that much incentive to go to Aysle if all your stuff becomes disconnection risks.

So maybe there could be a weapon that floats on its own and is controlled by using kinesis (think of Yondu's arrow in Guardians of the Galaxy. A horseless carriage could use land vehicles , but it could also use alteration magic . A wand that summons water could be activated with a conjuration magi...
