Re: What's so occult about Occultech?

I dunno, Gargoyle. This seems like a really strong example of "wait for the cosm book". Every cosm gets something cool and exclusive with their perks? Pan Pacifica would like to have a word with you on that. In the core book they get some REALLY weak Kung Fu Powers and a suit of armor. So ...

Re: Transformed humans in the Living Land

Anyway, if Darrell approves the alternate text I sent, the 'Neanderthal' image will be okay. I mean, we do have homo sapiens who look like that _now_. Well, without loincloth. Ahh! No, keep the loincloth! I would note that the more primitive savagery of humans in the LL does serve two purpose...

Re: Luchador archetype rough draft

I like it. In fact, I like it a lot! But in my opinion, it needs more skills. Right now it's really a one trick pony. It's a good trick, don't get me wrong, but outside of persuasion it doesn't really look like there's a lot that it adds outside of combat. I would suggest moving some points to First...

Re: Transformed humans in the Living Land

I would also change the name of the guy illustrated on page 12. "Harry Bayer" is too, shall we say, on-the-nose. :) Plus I thought silly jokes were going to be downplayed in the new LL. It's too late to change the illustration to be less Neanderthal-y, but an inspiring verbal caption migh...

Re: New/Old Conversions for Eternity

I also find myself missing the Mind/Perception split in attributes. (looks up which skills in oTorg fell under Perception) Huh, that's an interesting list. Also, oTorg had way too many skills. Every game in the early 90s had way too many skills yeah I mean can you think of any use for the "Pho...

If they were white they would be better Edeinos than the Edeinos (looking at you, Avatar).

I could have seen it was written that way in at least one adventure...

Re: Bi-modal chase scenes

Huh. I remembered it wrong too then. I remember DSR using different skills like A - Find the bomb B - Evidence Analysis or Scholar to figure out how to disarm it C - Science or Scholar to do the defusing D - etcetera But I guess maybe that's just how we did it in my group. I'll have to stop comparin...
