Re: Aysle setting Q&A thread

What does Utherion's natural form actually look like?

Maybe I just missed this, but the closest I've found is him being described as a horrific Orrorshian monster, which is pretty vague.

Re: My summary of the Torg setting

Thanks! Note that, for the gospog, it was intentional that I mentioned them in the same breath as Orrorsh since that's their home/source, but not to say or imply that they can't be found elsewhere. I've tweaked the page slightly.

Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes

I want to see a Keefee "Haroo" who explored the tunnels from Merretika to Aysle and now is mistaken by all of the Aylish for a hobbit.

My summary of the Torg setting

I'm getting ready to start my Torg game and created a summary to explain the setting to my players. I'd love feedback, particularly if anything seems wrong or off: http://mygurps.com/pmwiki.php?n=Main.TorgEternityOverview (Warning: The wiki layout seems to look weird in Internet Explorer, sorry.) No...

Re: Cyberdeck operations

My biggest concern about Cyberdeck is: What a Cyberdeck can do WITHOUT the Net? I don't quite understand this question. Using a Cyberdeck makes your computers skill Favored, full stop. That doesn't require the GodNet or even the Internet. If you've infiltrated a Tharkold command post and have acces...

Re: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT (7pm Eastern)

Both announcements are big news indeed! I take it Greg loves the new directions that US has taken with TE? Because as much as I respect the Torgy roots, I definitely want TE to continue to be willing to throw out the old whenever there's a better option for the new -- because the result so far has b...

Re: Anyone else feel like Spellbook could stand to be a bit more powerful?

My thought is to have the Mishap rule replace the existing one. So yes, you lose access to that spell for a while, but at least you aren't Very Stymied. I think that balances it.

Re: Breaking free of Mind Control (pulp vs psi)

For what it's worth, this is the verbiage that I've decided to adopt for every direct mind control power (not indirect, like the charm suggestion above), existing or future. I think it strikes the right balance, making it relatively easy to get a guard to grab that keycard without letting you own a ...
