Hey Folks!

Postby julianwolfe » Fri May 27, 2016 1:58 pm

I've been a long time D&D player and first heard about TDE through Ral Partha's amazing miniature lines. After playing through Chains of Satinav and Memoria I was so glad to see the kickstarter for this great system go live.

I'm really looking forward to discussing the world and system and see what kind of trouble we all get into :)

Hey Julian,
I am intrigued how the game and world will look to people who didn't grow up with it's history.

I am looking forward to hearing other points of view.

I think I'm going to pick up the games this summer to play through them as additional resources for understanding the world.

Hi, everyone! I'm also new to the game. Backed the Kickstarter project yesterday and look forward to getting a big box o' fun in the future. :D

I have skimmed the pdf of the Starter Rules. Good stuff! I volunteered to run the intro scenario at a local game shop on Free RPG Day June 18 to promote the game. Looking forward to it!

Hopefully you have the full PDF rules in time.

Thanks. My assumption is that everything I'll need to run in the intro scenario will be in the Starter pdf. I might want to get started on prep soon to confirm that! ;)

The starter has everything you need. But of course its not a perfect 100% depiction of everything the game has to offer. As a teaser it works well enough. (All based on the assumption that it's more or less identical with the german version)

I had heard of TDE before but had never seen any of the stuff.
The system definitely looks pretty cool and I really want to try it out.

Luckily, it looks like about half the people in my local gaming groups are backing the kickstarter... :D

That is lucky indeed,
in my group I am the one and only backer and I will need to convince them to get into the game by running something for them before long.
