geography in aventuria

Postby mtgraven878 » Sun Mar 05, 2017 9:46 pm

im in the process of preparing for my very first session of the dark eye and one thing that ive been trying to figure out to no success even with the core rules is the many villages and cities within the world of aventuria, i mean of course i have the names of the countries in the whole continent of aventuria like the middenrealm and the shadowlands but what about the land of reichforst? where is that? does anyone have any pictures i could use to help me in some ways get a clear picture of where to set my adventures in aventuria?

A very good tool is the route planner "Auf Aves Pfade". But there are the German names of the cities and regions.

Further more it exists some political maps of aventuria, but also here I only can give you links to the German version.

Please excuse my bad English, I'm a beginner.

The alamach will have more information about the different countries and their landscapes. The Reichsforst is not a "land" as in country, but a big old forest. It literally means "[the] realm's forest".

The map pack Morgoth linked to is a good start, you can also download the new TDE5 "satellite" map, which has the biggest cities and most important landscapes on it:
http://www.ulisses-spiele.de/download/1 ... h_6046.pdf

This map here is the biggest and most detailed map I know (7150x11000 pixel, ~10MB) and is combined from all the regional maps:

If you need some more general information, I recommend watching the (4 or 5 I think) lore videos of OrkenspalterTV - they're in english!
