Hey folks!
So, the thing I was working on:

An introduction to The Dark Eye.

I posted in on imgur, you can find it here.

It's quite long, but if you want to show someone what TDE is all about, maybe this helps!
I hope it's not the worst, textwise.

Just showed this to my brother. It was exactly what he was looking for. It really helps to know the recent history in context. Great work HEX! :D

Its a bit oversimplified in the comparisons, i'd prefer to not misinform for simplicities sake. Not wrong per se, nut definetely not right. And the maraskan=japan thing is a pet peeve of mine, because its as wrong as it can get, just because an illustrator took inspiration for a set of armor and a sword it doesnt mean that the culture is anything like it, while in fact its almost the opposite (or i missed the stereotype for informal, casual, extroverted and talkative japanese). I've seen that the text does a bit of correction there, but still the image reinforces the common missconception.
And the Bornland is definetely not russian but mainly polish. The form of government as well as the famous riders are taken from our neighbours not russia.

Almada is quite like spain, but the focus is the parts of spain that where under moorish rule, since the tulamidian influence is the important part of the region.
