BGG Microbadges

Postby Eric USNA » Thu Mar 16, 2017 11:34 am

One of our fans, Dimitri Louwet, has been kind enough to go through the extended process of submitting Aventuria microbadges for BoardGameGeek! If you happen to be a BGG user, you can search for "Aventuria" in the microbadge store and find the following:

Treetopglint? Really? Why not Canopyglint or so? Treetop sounds so... wooden.

"Canopyglint" would not as directly suggest trees to an English-speaking audience. "Canopy" would make people think first of a tent or something similar.

To my ears it just sounds like a name that was translated from something more lyrical in another language, which seems fine considering it's an Elven name. :)
