Infiniverse Exchange Early Access

Postby Eric USNA » Mon Nov 27, 2017 2:42 pm

Okay, I know we have a ton of creative people with some very strong ideas here. So here's the big question - do you feel like you can put together a small community content product in less than two weeks?

Do you have some layout and editing experience and the ability to manipulate either InDesign files or a variety of transparent .png files?

Do you want your work to be among the first fan-made products available on the Infiniverse Exchange?

If yes, then please respond to this thread. I would like to compile a list of people who will get early access to the Infiniverse Exchange Layout Kit and Illustrations Pack. Those people will then be expected to produce at least one original product (which can be small) using those materials and guidelines, which will then be available as the first wave of sample products when we launch the Exchange.

So how about it, Storm Knights? Are you ready to start creating?

Count me in. I'm an editor and have a fair bit of experience with InDesign. This sounds like a challenge I would enjoy :)

Please include me. I have been working on something, and have been waiting for this to be released.

I use InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop almost daily... but...

What would be the deadline for the original material?

I'm in. I have written and designed for Paizo, WotC, and a bunch of small press game companies. I work with transparent png files for my business, and although I am unfamiliar with InDesign, I am pretty quick to pick up software use as needed.

Delthrien,

We would be hoping to turn this around in just under two weeks - I'm hoping to launch by December 8th. That's why I suggest short pieces. :)

I own InDesign. I've used it a few times, but as long as you're not asking for anything complex in there, I should be able to use it. It's an older version though.

I'm fairly hep on Photoshop, at least in terms of laying out layers and what not. Doesn't sound like you're asking for filters or masking.

And I have an idea of what I could add.

Content written and playtested. I should be able to get it laid out by December 8th, although not in InDesign.

Sooner would definitely be better with the files, though.

Looking forward to it!

Well, I'm pretty casual when it comes to illustration software (Paint.net being pretty much it) but if blank card backgrounds are a thing that's supported I'd def be willing to give it the ol' College try at whipping up some of the variant cosm cards I posted before . :)
