Because the Impact Hammer also functions as a night light?

That'd have to be a heavy-duty power socket you're pluggin' that sucker into. But it's a lovely visual.

"G'night sweetheart."

"Daddy? Can you turn on the night light?"

"Of course, sweetheart." (*THUNK*) (*woooooOOOOOOOORRRRRM*) "Sleep tight!"

If you're in Tharkhold and you can't find a war hammer you don't have a choice.

Same with truncheon and mace. The truncheon has a higher cost, much higher tech level, and no advantages.

I think one reason to get an item is roleplaying/theme. Maybe the impact hammer fits the character more, or it's just cooler. Just as you might think a truncheon being collapsible is more convenient (though not more concealable; it doesn't have the "small" trait).

No, this is one of those 'oopsies' that got through when something was changed. It's going to be tweaked.

[Edit]: The Impact Hammer is going to lose Unweildy.

Awesome. Thanks!

I just hit the Cyberware section, and I'm looking through the stuff that did and did not get descriptions. They generated questions...

Do you need to have a Belleview 20-20 Cyber Eye in order to get a Belleview Low-Light MK II?
Do the CyberHam Fingerprint Mimic and Retina Mimic require access to an authorized user's eye/finger, or do they "pick" the biometric lock somehow?
Does the Datas Toxin Detector MK I work automagically, every time, or is there a roll?

No.

Need to somehow copy the fingerprint/retina.

Works every time.

something is wrong with gun damages, as pistol do as much damge as rifles..

I guess it is for mechanical / balance reasons, but as you can't use anything longer than a pistol in melee, I do not see why caracters should use any rifle or machine gun.
I will try to post a damage/caliber chart using the new Torg Chart (did you remark that it is no longer 1 1,5 2,5 4 6 10 but 1 2 3 4-5 6-9 10).

So here are the changes I will implement, they won't be huge :
only the weapons I would change :
.45 Colt -- 13
M4 carbine/M16 -- 14
machine guns would be 15
Thompson 1928 should 13
If I respected real world physics, I guess that pistols would be 2 points under rifles, changing just 4 entries in my games is so easy.

I was thinking of creating a 5-column table of ammunition types.

12 = lighter pistol rounds
13 = heavier pistol rounds
14 = stupid-heavy pistol (Desert Eagle .50) or lighter rifle rounds
15 = heavier rifle rounds
16 = stupid-heavy rifle (Browning .50) rounds.

I was gonna have my gun-nut roommate help me divvy stuff up.

Kanawa Security Armor and Armor of God are both +4, Max Dex 8, Full Body. The Higher Tech more expensive Armor of God Fatigues, and Kanawa is Min Str 8. The higher tech armor is more expensive and both have a disad (stat requirement vs Fatigue) I'm not sure that Armor of God is an upgrade for most characters, and I'd expect higher tech, higher cost to be better for most characters. I suppose that Min Str value is going to make Kanawa just a non-option for many characters though.

Pretty much.

For a long time armor had a max bonus of +5 instead of +4, but through playtesting it was determined that was too much (similarly for the melee weapons). So many of the former +5 armors went down to a +4 armor, which has compressed some of the differences (and in the case of the Warhammer/Impact Hammer made them functionally identical accidentally).
