What does a Torg Eternity Ninja look like?

So far we have only seen one official Ninja in Torg Eternity. She is in the first Act of the Relics of Power Redux. But as a villian, she is going to look a little different than a starting storm Knight.

I'm curious if anyone has made a Ninja as a starting character yet. If so, what were their starting stats and which Perks did you go with? It seems like Primary stats would be Dex, Spi, and then Min. They need Spirit for the shochu points the Perks require and Min for a good Trick score. Tricky ninjas.

Maybe I'm missing something. Love to hear your thoughts.

Here is one I ran. Image

Stalker perk from the Ruins of the LL supplement seemed like the best fit. I would have liked for more perk options to fight dirty in the middle of a scene though. Trick is a must IMO but you start running into the difficulty of having so many attributes needed. I regret not having Situational Awareness and should have gone with that and Stalker. I felt like I needed Wealthy to make the character work so I felt a bit constrained in that respect. Was thinking about reskinning the electric katana as a ninja-to but I ended up making it her missing samurai husband's sword.

Thanks for sharing.

That's a really interesting build. I wouldn't have thought of taking Wealthy. But as you pointed out, equipping a Ninja can get expensive. I'm looking at more of a Snake-Eyes inspiration. Especially in Pan-Pacifica, I want to give her a gun as well. Might have to stick with a Glock instead of the Uzi, due to cost.

As far as Ki Perks go, Block/Strike makes the most sense. The high Dodge of the Archetype will end up giving her lots of extra attacks. The Ninja is known most for speed and stealth. Whirlwind should definitely be on her Advancement tree.

If you want a Snake Eyes character, make an elf with the Warden/White Wolf Perks.

Well the toy didnt come with the wolf till I think his 3rd incarnation? So i always forget about Timber. Plus i think of Pan-Pacifica ninja scaling skyscrapers and sneaking inside industrial complexes. Not the best places for s wolf.

When I say Snake-eyes inspiration, I'm thinking Ninja with a gun and a sword. Maybe even a couple hand grenades for when things get crazy. I seem to remember Nippon Tech ninjs using guns also. Plus visually it sets the character apart from middle ages Ninja.

I know, I'm a jerk for forgetting about Timber.

Also I cant find Shuriken on any gear lists. I see the Ion Shuriken but do to budget concerns, I'm looking for normal ones. Anyone see any?

You mean Shuriken, the Stalenger that was transformed to a Pan-Pacifica Electric Samurai?

Regarding guns, I was going to have her start using them more as the campaign went on. Her attitude was going to be that they were "noisy", and then start realizing how useful they could be and incorporating them a little more, especially holdouts. I definitely think ninjas in Tech 24 could have guns with effective silencers anyway.
