No, there are still inherent powers in the Nile Empire. They're just not "create tornadoes" or "control electricity over the entire city" scale powers.

I just want to say THANK YOU for Directive #2 there, since that made me laugh so hard when I watched the Delphi Council GenCon game, and made me laugh even harder when I saw it in the book

(Though wasn't that supposed to be Rule #1? ;) )

I should start a thread in Tangent's "Quinn Sebastian's List of Things Storm Knights are No Longer Allowed to Do"

Stop talking! You're not answering anyone's questions. Am I setting it on fire or not?!

I'm a bit confused by the opening of "On the Trail of the Fox". It starts in Tokyo and sends the Storm Knights to Ōmagari. That's about 600 km from Tokyo; it takes three hours by Shinkansen.

There's no reason not to send the characters across Japan, but it's odd that the adventure doesn't mention it at all; it's further than Los Angeles to San Francisco, so it's like starting an adventure in Los Angeles and having the next scene set on Alcatraz Island, with no attention paid to the transition.

It's nice having something happen in Japan and not in Tokyo or Kyoto, but I can't help feeling that the adventure should at least gesture at the distances involved. It's twice the distance involved in the opening of Kali Station's Gone Dark, and that gets a mention even though the characters are already in a plane and can just change course.

Kudos for setting the adventure somewhere else in Japan, and finding a real temple to use for Kitsune's hiding place.

First adventure says the Iron Crocodile, like his namesake, can breathe underwater because of a gadget in his exo skeleton suit.

Thing is about crocodiles and underwater breathing... Not so much.
