Show me your character!
Show me your character!
I'm curous what kinds of characters people are playing and, beyond the usual dip into sheets, I'm also curious if anyone's generated art for their table. We're still at Core + living Land, so there's a lot of room yet!

Yeah, many groups have a resident artist who does stuff, but not all.
Alas, alas.
I wind up getting the job most of the time, which is bad because I'm bad, but every now and then one of our arty friends gets involved and then, woo buddy.
Re: Show me your character!
We haven't started a game yet, but for practice I came up with this Tharkhold ex-thrall:

I can't art, but I did make this in HeroMaker:

Re: Show me your character!
Well, party I have just now:
1. Farouk al-Refki. Rich egyptian arab before Invasion, who got British education, he became kemetic noble spoiled guy after; in day he is some kemetic guy named... I always forget how exactly is he named, but at night he is dangerous gunslinger Farouk, who is fighting EVIL doctor Mobius with his faithful SIG Sauers, trying to return Egypt back to its people and to defend his islamic faith from DEVIOUS INVADERS!
2. Melissa Uí Néill. Irish young woman who worked in general store in Southern Ireland, was catched by Axiom Wash when she was in holidays in France. After her magical abilities awaken, she is on the run from Cyberchurch - she is witch, she doesn't speak French, she is red-head and green-eyed. She found Resistance, and then joined Delphi Council as Storm Knight with some magical expertise.
3. Nao Tanaka. Japanese girl, engineer prodigy who was, as Melissa, caught by Invasion in France, had lost her parents to Cyberchurch police. She managed to escape and tried to run to Japan - through peaceful Scandinavia and Russia. Needless to say, Scandinavia and Russia wasn't so peaceful she wanted, and her travels were very adventurous. From Tarkhold she was saved by Delphi Council, and joined them as tech specialist whose expertise luckly wasn't blocked by cosm borders.
4. Alice Eleanor Dhoan. Welsh-American librarian from little Nevada city, Alice had her psi abilities spiked when Invasion started. When fight started, she tried to join US Army first, but fastly realized she is too weak physically for field duty. She was recommended for Army think tank, so-called Project Green Man, to learn about invaders and means for fight them. When Project Green Man was incorporated into Delphi Council, Alice supported Army with expeditions into Living Land until her Moment of Crisis happens. From that moment she joined field duty for DC.

I argue fiercely, but I never believed disagreement should be capital offence.

That's a great bunch of characters, Aenno! But wow, they all dumped Strength! Quite the fragile group.

Beat me to that! Always nice to have one muscley-person in the team. Never know when you need somebody to hold up a door long enough for everyone else to get under it. LD

What can I say. They hope for speed and range, and for me mastering politics and socials more, and combat less. And I don't know system good enough yet to say if this is a great mistake.

Re: Show me your character!
I haven't gotten to play yet, and have only GM'd a little. The one character I have made that I desperately want to play is my Crone. CE, long time Witch and one time activist; she knows Magic, but can't cast "High Magick" on her own. She is adept at the Healing "Magic" (Miracles, Cure Disease and Heal) she knows. In fact, many of the lower income immigrants in her area have braved the Casa de la Bruja because they couldn't afford doctors.
Time has not been kind to her, but then she has survived a lot of it. Looking at her, you wouldn't think someone in her 80s has any business "Adventuring", she looks like the old woman portion of the picture psychologists use (the one where you can see a young woman if you look at it right) but she will tell you she fought for women's lib, she fought for equal rights, she fought for gay marriage, she fought against pollution and politicians (that may be redundant) and By the Grace of the Goddess, she WILL fight to save her world. And frankly, when she gets riled up, she is scary.
