I pointed this out elsewhere, but since this is the right place for it: the Setting paragraph of the Content Rules doesn't give us permission to create things in Orrorsh. I'm presuming this is a typo -- if it's not, it would be good to know now.

You are allowed to use the term, so yes you can create things in Orrorsh.

Nothing in the Exchange is auto-canon, anyway, so restricting the setting but not the terms wouldn't make sense.

What's the policy on using names and concepts from the original version of Torg that haven't yet appeared in Torg Eternity?

I assume, for instance, that one couldn't take the Creatures of Aysle book, convert the various critters and things to TE, and publish it.

I also assume that it's okay to write up unicorns for something set in Aysle, even if they are similar (and not just a copy and paste) to the unicorns in the Creatures of Aysle sourcebook.

What I'm not sure of is something like the following scenarios:

Is it okay to write a Tharkhold adventure which includes a monster from Creatures of Tharkhold, re-imagined for the new and improved Tharkhold?

Is it okay to write a Cyberpapacy adventure where one of the foes has a piece of cyberware from the original Cyberpapacy sourcebook?

That sort of thing.

You can convert stat blocks. You cannot copy text. So if you came up with your own wording/description you could do a monsters of aysle. Also you can convert Torg to Torg Eternity, but not Torg Eternity to Torg.

I am working on creating some alternate rules for Torg Eternity. If I were to create an Infinivserse product, my understanding is the following.

1. Perks that appear on the Torg Eternity rules wiki may be freely used. For example, whole sections of text from the Perk descriptions may be copied and used verbatim, and such text can also be freely altered to fit in with a new rules system.

2. Because Perks that appear in sourcebooks (e.g. The Living Land, The Nile Empire), other supplements (e.g. Beta Primers), and adventures are not described on the wiki, they may not be used or referenced in any way.

Is this correct?
