Ignore specified forums

Postby Morgoth Feuerklinge » Mon Jul 17, 2017 9:13 am

Is it possible in any way to ignore specified forums? I only want to see TDE threads especially in the "Unread Posts"-Page .
Please excuse my bad English, I'm a beginner.

TDE since: 1998
Current TDE rule set: 4.1

If you click on a forum name, you will see a checkbox at the bottom of the page labeled "Subscribe Forum." If you uncheck that for the ones you don't want to follow, you should see fewer notifications.

I believe this affects the New Posts and Unread Posts quick links, but you'll have to test it to be sure. (I can't unsubscribe anything, because I'm the admin.)

It does,
I only get messages about Dark Eye, Aventuria and General posts but nothing about TORG or Fading Suns.

I have a feel that the new kids are disturbing the long term residents :D

We have to make sure that we can all coexist happily, because we'll be adding even more product lines in the future...

I tried you advice, but when you try to remove the tick it actually tells you that you have now subscribed that forum. I guess that means I will now get emails whenever there is a posting?

Still when I search for new posts I end up with lots of TORG which I am not interested in. Maybe it would be possible to select what you see by creating usergroups, then you can pick to be in the "see only Xy-group" and by default you would start in the see everything group.
