Done. It could probably also use some cell padding, but I can't figure out the syntax on the cellpadding tag either. What would the inline CSS be for that?

Thanks.

Code: Select all

[table style="border: N1px solid black; padding: N2px;"]

where N1is number of pixels for border width
and N2 is number of pixels for padding

Cool. I've given 5px of cell padding to the headers and 2px to data. Feel free to let me know if you have any other changes.

Thanks for all your work. Table support on the forums will likely make some posts much easier and more legible.

Eric, can you also enable colspan and rowspan attributes?
Here is html syntax.

Eric help please!

For some reason I get large upper margin when creating table. See here

That is very odd. It seems to be proportional to how many rows are in the table. I have absolutely no idea why this would be happening.

I'll poke at it when I get a chance. Unfortunately I am up to my elbows in spreadsheets today, so it may take some time. If anyone has some thoughts, feel free to let me know.

Okay yes. So...if you compose your table with carriage returns and spaces to help yourself organize, just remove all of them after you're done.

It's a little tedious, but it does work.

Thanks to Morgoth for that.

Yep, I figure it out thanks to Morgoth.
I think there is option in BBCode control panel to disable this behavior but I can't seems to find info about it. My google-fu is failing :(
