Greetings from Hungary!

Postby farwyl » Sat Dec 03, 2016 7:08 am

Hey there fellow TDE enthusiasts!

I'm a 24 years old male hailing from the murky perilous depths of Central Europe. I've been introduced to The Dark Eye and Aventuria via the excellent Drakensang video games, and soon found myself getting hold of the 4th edition Basic Rules and World of Aventuria books. While I never managed to immerse myself in the 4th edition ruleset, I loved every minute I've spent reading the World of Aventuria book. Then I've also played through Chains of Satinav, which made sure that Aventuria, especially Andergast became my favourite fantasy setting.

I'm very happy with the 5th edition Core Rules book, though I haven't finished reading it yet, but once I finish my thesis, I'll run Revelations from Heaven with a group of friends. I'm also eagerly awaiting the Aventuria Almanac and the Warring Kingdoms books. :)

I'm also a fan of Dungeon Crawl Classics and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (2nd edition), and I'm currently playing and running Shadow of the Demon Lord.

For Andergast!
Cheers!

Hi Farwyl and welcome aboard.

I don't know how good your german is, or how well google translate works in this case, but you can find my extensive reviews of both at www.helden.de if you are interested.

Hello Farwyl,
We just finish the current arc of our WFRP 2nd Edition game where the PCs were trying (and largely failing) to investigate the reasons behind an goblin infestation in the wilds of Stirland. Good times.

We are playing some Pathfinder just now (Hells Rebels) but the game after that will be me leading a Dark Eye campaign set in the Nostrian woods. I am therefore super excited to see the Warring Kingdoms stuff (specially seeing that it reviewed well in the German roleplaying press) and of course the Almanac.

Welcome to this group and I hope you are going to have a great time with this stuff.

Lambert if you or your group need autocalc-fillable Rebel sheet, here you go. I created it for my friends.
