new playable races?

As the title says, will there be new races in any of the upcoming books?
I'd like to play a goblin or another "savage" race, but havent found any rules to play them.

Keeping in mind which races have been playable in the other versions, I'd say:
Humans
Elves
Dwarves
Orks
Goblins
and
Lizardmen/Achaz

will be the playable races again. At least, the focus will be on them, of there are even more exotic ones coming as a supplement one day I can't say.

None of the current German 5e publications introduces new playable races. (Though you could try to reverse-engineer the stat blocks from the bestiaries; no idea whether it works)
Some supplements deliver new sub races for elves (technically they're presented as new cultures)
New playable races are also often asked for in Germany; so Ulisses knows about this wish.
My guess is that they would introduce some of the races HEX mentioned in the respective regional expansion. Achaz are almost exclusively found in the south, so it would make some sense to feature then in the regional expansion.
Otherwise: House ruling new races should be pretty easy as the race is not that important stat wise.

They need to add goblins for the simple fact that they are mentioned in the first adventure of the Theatre Knights Campaign as a hero option, with a new magic tradition. Its like hey this is important but im not going to give the option for it.

Here's my first attempt at a goblin, any thoughts?

Goblin:
LP: 0
SPI: -6
TOU -6
MOV: 8
Attribute Maximums: DEX and AGI +1; COU or SAG -2
AP cost: 0?(some bonus for low LP,SPI and TOU?)

Strongly recommended Advantages and
Disadvantages: Darksight I, Exceptional Sense (Hearing)

Common Advantages: Resistant to Cold
Common Disadvantages: Negative Trait (Superstition, Curiosity)

After trying to calculate the AP cost for the existing races using advantages and disadvantages; it appears that goblins should get about 69 extra AP :o

yeah i did the math for most humanoid races, and goblins give quite a lot of AP, and should invest in Luck with their poor stats

True, maybe allow them to take luck III, ignoring the limit.
