Since he gets them from the organization, you could probably get away with Wealthy, letting him get Persuasion and Streetwise favorited for how he makes requests from the Delphi Council/Aysle's Ministry of Arcane Accoutremants.

Transformed Espionage Agent with magical gadgets sounds fun, but is carrying "an offensive magic item which doesn't look offensive" considered as carrying a consealed weapon(which is considered as a Dark act and highly illegal) or just like having an attack spell(which isn't dishonorable at all)?

That's a good question, is carrying a concealed weapon into a dangerous situation going to earn someone a Dark Mark?

James Bond is trained and licensed to infiltrate and assassinate designated enemies of the state. I’d be surprised if he didn’t have Darkness perks.

He’s a spy. Seems like that would just be part of the job for him.

Oh yeah, Bond would be pretty Dark. No question about that.

Oh yeah. Trickery, deceit, murder most foul? All in the name of good but James Bard is not a nice man.

He will lie his way into your keep, gamble with your guards until they pass out drunk, seduce your daughter, slaughter your servants, then walks off while lighting his pipe as your former stronghold explodes in the background from the alchemical experiment that 'accidently' got left on.

All in the name of justice, not honor.

I dont know if every espionage agent is necessarily an anti-hero. Though the case can be made for a character patterned on James Bond.

The real question is, how much leeway do the Laws of Light and Darkness allow for Assassin/Roguish characters?

Is carrying a concealed weapon going to give you are Darkness Mark?

Is back stabbing a bad guy allowed?

Where is the threshold for gaining unwanted Dark Marks?

There is guidance throughout the book. The beginning of the "One Year Later" section details that Darkness manipulates, bullies and pillages while Light opposes Darkness. The Adventure Tools say a GM should warn a player about behavior that can attract Dark Marks. As for unwanted Marks, they're usually part of the adventure and specified as such.

In the end, it's a GM call, but I would let most of those slide as they are opposing Darkness. If a GM has a problem, a warning is in order.

That makes sense.
