Hello! I am completely new to the world of Aventuria and The Dark Eye RPG. I saw the rulebook in one of my local book stores and I couldn't stop thinking about it after I left without buying it. I decided to order it on Amazon when I was ordering some last minute gifts for work and I have pored through the Quickstart Rules, bought the Darkensang on Steam, and am eagerly awaiting my book (pre-ordered the Bestiary as well). I really think I found the game. I'm excited to participate in the community and get a game(s?) going!

BTW, Grimraven is a pretty fitting name for Aventuria. Althoug Nirraven (the Boneraven) would be even better.

It definitely has. The book looked very well put together, just from my handling of it in the shrink wrap. I know they say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but I think DSE is a positive exception to the rule!
