Greetings from Kansas!

Postby Grimraven » Mon Dec 19, 2016 9:47 pm

Hello! I am completely new to the world of Aventuria and The Dark Eye RPG. I saw the rulebook in one of my local book stores and I couldn't stop thinking about it after I left without buying it. I decided to order it on Amazon when I was ordering some last minute gifts for work and I have pored through the Quickstart Rules, bought the Darkensang on Steam, and am eagerly awaiting my book (pre-ordered the Bestiary as well). I really think I found the game. I'm excited to participate in the community and get a game(s?) going! :)

Excellent. The propaganda is working. Muahahah.

Anyway, welcome here! I hope you have fun.
BTW, Grimraven is a pretty fitting name for Aventuria. Althoug Nirraven (the Boneraven) would be even better. :P

It definitely has. The book looked very well put together, just from my handling of it in the shrink wrap. I know they say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but I think DSE is a positive exception to the rule! :)

Thanks for the welcome. :)

Grimraven has always been my handle, I can't even remember how I came up with it, but I'll take that as a compliment! :D

Hi and welcome aboard Grimraven :)
I'd have to be a warrior, a slave I couldn't be.
A soldier and a conqueror, fighting to be free.
