Re: Boxes for future Kickstarters

I like the bio hazard one for PP! Tharkold should be in the style of a Hellraiser puzzle box. Nobody would ever play. Of course they would. Your real biggest obstacle would be getting permission from Clive Barker to use his stuff. Ooooh! Thought! As a Tharkold Stretch Goal you get Clive Barke...

Re: Cheap movie: The Velocipastor

This is something that flat-out demands to be in Torg: Eternity. Basically, "raptor form" you'd get a +1 to Toughness from your hide (and couldn't wear other armor) and you'd get a Str+2 claw attack. Figure you couldn't use any skills requiring verbal communication and you'd have the Outsi...

Boxes for future Kickstarters

For the Cyberpapacy, a reliquary box like this but with cyber-style imagery: https://projects.mcah.columbia.edu/treasuresofheaven/relics/jpegs/148.52.1.jpg For Pan-Pacifica a biohazard transport box like this one: https://www.hmark.com/images/SST/sst105red.jpg Anyone have other ideas, especially for...

Re: Aysle Kickstarter!

There's a lot for me to look forward to, but overall I guess I'm most looking forward to the next parts of the Relics of Power adventure.

Re: Corruption Perks

I had two reasons I left the corruption check out of this perk. The first is that I saw this as a Perk that the player has to take, the others are options. A player could decide to simply not use them at all. This one they have to roll at full moon, no choice. The second is that the player is alrea...

Re: Corruption Perks

Curse of Lycanthropy I would make the DN harder (DN 18 - Heroic) and on a failure the GM takes over the character but has no memory of what happens until they wake up. Makes a great story hook waking up with your arms soaked in blood with no memory of what happened. I'd eliminate the Str+1 and make...

Re: House Rules

Thanks, that's really helpful. We were OTorg fanatics back in the day and think USNA have done a fantastic job with TorgE, but there's nothing like actual lived experience to iron out kinks in new rules for any system. Something I do want to point out. There are other Perks from other realities tha...

Re: oTorg adventure Before the Dawn - lots of spoilers

Okay, just finished reading the Day one Adventures, overall good stuff! Proceeding to yank out the good bits and re-purpose. I'm going to start Before the Dawn with "The Lost World" Act 2; Scene 2 of the Living Land Day One adventure. I'll use the handouts and let the players poke around ...

Re: Cyberpapacy Detective

I'm looking forward to the new TorgE Cyberpapacy with more integrated cybertechnology, but I hope its 18 Social Axiom (and the fact that the Cyberchurch theocracy is an obsolete and reactionary "Ancien Régime" even under that Axiom) won't be forgotten. (And the two important historical mo...
