Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook!!

Deanna, Is there any cyberware with a Tech axion of 25? Or, perhaps a better way to ask... is there anyway for PCs from Tharkold to get Cyberware? I don't think the Recalibrated Cyberware is allowed for a PC with Occultech, and my son is asking for his Sniper. No. There’s going to be cyberware that...

Re: Kuro

Oh and 4s count as 0s because 4 is a "bad luck" number in Japan. Of course, because 4 is “shi” which is too close to “shinu” which means death, and death is the biggest taboo you can have. Though it can also be pronounced as “yon”, just as “shichi” (7) can be pronounced “nana” to be polit...

As long as you have the money/Streetwise, you can have as many spells as you want to - by purchasing scrolls.

Re: Kuro

It definitely looks good. Have you tested it? It's a game with a great setting, great hook and kind of awful system. There's a full examination of Tokyo (now named Shin-Edo) in 2046 in terms of businesses, society, technology, etc. It's a great source book for incorporating the Infiniverse product, ...

Re: Other ways to get gear

Yeah, pretty much our group doesn't bother with "requisition checks." They get most of their stuff with the old kill/KO folks and jack their shit. One of the best things about Torg, both original and Eternity, is the paradigm shift away from murder hobos. Well, there is something to be sa...

Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook Preview Discussion

All of this is well within the boundaries of the campaign world. I'm actually not a huge fan of CP characters (decking is tough on the party), but from a pure balance perspective the cyberware actually might be slightly underpowered compared to certain other perks given it's the standout element in...

Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook Preview Discus, but onsion

Hurricane Katrina made landfall on August 29, 2005. That was an accident. I remember them doing much more... polemic than that on purpose. I'm not surprised. Some choices WW made were utterly tone deaf. Clan Malkavian was an entire bloodline of vampires cursed with "madness." Like, Victor...

Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook Preview Discus, but onsion

I feel the level of persecution in the Cyberpapacy is very much a Your Campaign May Vary situation and US probably has to be careful in how they present information. Talking about invading elves, cyberdemons and dinosaur men destroying cities is one thing, but once you start talking about religious...
