Re: Aysle Kickstarter Launches July 2!

This is a cross-post and it might be unrelated. My apologies in advance. I know some folks are concerned about their Nile Boxes shipping in North America. I just received an email with a fed ex tracking number for my own Nile Box. It’s coming out of Knoxville TN, and Fed Ex says they have it at thei...

North American Nile Box Shipped

Hi guys, Just sharing information. I know there are some backers getting impatient for news about Nile Box shipping. A few minutes ago I received an email with a FedEx shipping number for my Nile box. It’s coming out of Knoxville TN and FedEx says its actually at their facility. Hopefully this comes...

Re: Aysle Preview #1 - One Year Later...

I was the person who posted in the “Comments” that Utsukushi referred to. Without involving them, I would like to thank Utsukushi for teasing out more of a reply than I received. When I posted, I was well aware of the stance towards the old spell creation system. The fact that it wasn’t going to be ...

Re: Living Land Axiom Stretch Goal Discussion

Huh. I'm probably all alone in this, but... I don't like that. If it's going to be different in the book and screens... blah. No. Changing something right out of the gate isn't "changing" anything, it's just different already. I'm with Gargoyle on this, I'm afraid. It might be cool to see...

Re: Living Land Axiom Stretch Goal Discussion

In the chat they said that the axiom increase, if it happens, will go into the LL book and on the GM screen. Yes, that is correct. The LL will not be outdated upon release. At the same time, U. is also right. They’re not going to rewrite a lot of material either. That’s why I think it’s a good idea...

Re: Living Land Axiom Stretch Goal Discussion

@Rocketeer, Fair point, but I think raising the Social Axiom by 1 point is going to most affect NPC behavior patterns more than it's going to actually change any game mechanics the PCs have to deal with. I'm not sure any strictly edeinos game mechanics would be altered significantly. Again, mostly j...

Re: Living Land Axiom Stretch Goal Discussion

I don't really see what opportunity there is for the players to get involved with this change, within the game. Changing axioms is something the HL and DD just do , right? Spend a ton of energy, axiom changes. Even if there was a ritual or something and the SK stop it... how would they stop the bad...

Re: Infiniverse Stopping?

So the Infiniverse is coming to an end because there's one form for all of the Delphi missions from the cargo box book? I still don't get it. You can submit as many forms as you want, sure it's a slight hassle to skip past the ones you're not submitting for but it doesn't strike me as a big deal. I...

Living Land Axiom Stretch Goal Discussion

Hey all, I was a little behind following the campaign and the boards. I just rewatched the second-to-the-last-chat and the most recent one to date. I wanted to talk about the Axiom stretch goal and I thought it really merited it's own thread. The topic sort of gets lost amid general discussion of th...

Re: Here comes the Living Land Kickstarter...

Why is Baruk Kaah changing the axioms?!? I don't know, but I'm leaning toward voting either Tech or nothing, rather than Social. Bumping up Tech by 1 just adds shortbows and slings, no big deal. Bumping up Social would allow for city-states and would make taxation commonplace, which seems really we...
