Re: Aysle Backer Archetypes

Where exactly are these printed up again? I don't see these archetypes in the pre-release archetypes file...

Re: Perk Advancement Cost

I used to give my players in my MMO guilds the same speech. It happens, though, that most people do not subscribe to that sort of satisfaction. Rewards, especially improving characters is integral to most people having a good time. It's a bit different than that, I think. Character advancement is i...

Re: GodNet vs. Reality

Yeah, but I have to say... now that I reread it three or four times, I'm also struggling with this... "Most people do appear essentially identical to how they look in the Flesh—scars and everything. If they’re strong in the Flesh, they’re strong in the GodNet. Their clothing and any equipment i...

Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook Preview Discussion

Admittedly, the streetwise rules for acquiring things have potential for abuse. Essentially, streetwise becomes "money". Now, while not many characters have the kind of charisma to really abuse this, it's not impossible to create one that does. We addressed that problem by ruling that Stre...

Re: When Cosms Collide Discussion Thread

I like how Greg's put it: Storm Knights can succeed at anything. But they cannot succeed at everything. Not going to speak for anyone else, but I know that in my adventures I make a point of having hard choices. I think this is the default for all the published adventures, but one thing I encourage...

Re: GodNet vs. Reality

It seems like the default is that the Godnet is separate, unless there's something specific that causes it to not be separate (like a miracle that damages the deadhead in the Flesh). When you bring something in the GodNet, a projection is created by that reality... Likewise, there are (relatively ne...

Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook Preview Discussion

That's all part of the reason I'm planning to develop Cyberware Perks in terms of Perks that allow those with Cyberware to get a little more out of it while making Cyberware itself normal gear/equipment that's available only in the CP - much like magic wands and staffs are gear available in Aylse. ...

Re: Cyberpapacy Sourcebook!!

One would imagine that the possibility energy required to take a cosm from Tech 26 to tech 27 is a lot more than the energy required to go from tech 7 to tech 8. It's logarithmic, and getting to tech 30 (basically, total control over reality) from tech 26 is vastly harder than getting to tech 10 fro...

Re: Other ways to get gear

Well, one of our players is a transformed Aylish former RPG/LARPer.

So, while not exactly murder hobos, let's just say that "Loot the Body" is a thing. :ugeek:
