I like this one. It's different than the existing cosms, but fits into an established genre (space pirates.) Just generally a nice realm. Cool idea, and hope you take it a bit further.

I don’t think low Social = post-apocalyptic. Low social + high tech, not just low social. But neither of the two proposals up so far is actually post-apocalyptic. TechsArcana is an anti-utopia, in which high-tech has led to extreme lethargy, while my Ancient Aliens is a John Carter of Mars riff (or...

Ancient Aliens The Mound Builders. The Pyramid Builders. The City of the Gods. Ancient wonders are known even on Core Earth, magnificent structures of astounding size and complexity that would challenge even modern technology. And yet they were built in the dim and distant past, when our ancestors ...

Unarmed Damage Stacking

One of my players has decided to make an unarmed combat specialist, and depending on how some perks stack, it varies from good to incredible. So, just want to check some questions here. The character (after an adventure): A dwarf from Aysle, with Dwarven armor and the Dragon Claw and Giant Strength ...

Re: Opinions on lightning strike miracle?

There was a character in the Day One campaign that had it, and my players used it. Since then, no one has had any interest in adding it to one of their own characters, no.

Re: Why be a non "Magic"-person from cosm X?

Another point to mention is that the roll to break free of Mind Control is not contested. It has a target of your telepathy, but that's it. You can't spend cards or possibilities making that better.

Re: Biopunk?

In oTorg, that role would have been part of the Star Sphere, a late-joining space-opera realm. In the GenCon adventure, Burden of Glory, and in the secrets of Aysle in the Core Rules, they've hinted at a role for the Star Sphere in Torg Eternity, but not what that would be, exactly. There's certainl...

Re: Gauging difficulty

Action economy. This is related to numbers. Lone villains aren't as hard as a small group of weaker foes, because they don't get as many actions. Love it or hate it, one of the good ideas in D&D 4th edition was Solo monsters. The idea that a big foe like a dragon should have more actions is a w...

Re: The God Box review (long, somewhat harsh)

Act One This act feels like it was written as an introduction to Torg and the Living Land. They set aside time for storm knights to introduce themselves and tell stories, and some of the scenes look like they are designed to showcase simple combats and teach players that the Living Land is primitiv...
