Re: Nile/Orrorsh Mixed Zone ideas

When I think Nile/Orrorsh mixed zone I think of that campy Van Hellsing movie with Hugh Jackman. Dunno if that's the most helpful inspiration but maybe it gives some ideas.

Re: New Perk: Past Lives question

Joan of Arc springs to mind. Personally, as much as Faith perks requiring faith adds makes sense, I kind of feel like being faithful in *this* love doesn't necessarily make sense as a prerequisite for being influenced by memories of your previous ones. Really depends on the variety of reincarnation ...

Re: Cyberpapacy Detective

I have no opinion on PI's either way but I wanted to say DevilNet has officially entered my headcanon so thank you for that.

Re: Stacking Clarification

I've sort of skimmed most of the thread so just a couple thoughts ⋅  Cards should always add to everything. It wouldn't feel right otherwise and I don't think they'd be doing much of their job. If one perk or buff spell negates 2/3 or all of Adrenaline it's suddenly a dead card. ⋅&nbs...

Re: Do Villains test Surge?

Especially since I don't have a debugging app to run on rules. :-) I thought that’s what we were. I was going to suggest more disciplined playtesters. Maybe invoke the law of dominance? Alternatively, I'm sure the cyberpapacy has some VIs that can help isolate all of the flaws in the rules. Especia...

I like the idea of a villain setback just disconnecting the lot of them.

Re: Do Villains test Surge?

Threats don't follow the same rule as heroes. They have stat blocks. Also it's easy for a player to remember if he us diconnected. Not so easy for the GM to remember which of the 20 Nile Shock troopers is. The shock troopers can disconnect as a group the same way they attack. Presumably they'd do t...

Re: Do Villains test Surge?

⋅ Non-Native, personal or local contradictory equipment: 4-case (would be 1-case by RAW but character has basically 2 strikes against them from the Everlaws' POV) I'd only call it a four case if the tool contradicts both realities. Basically look at all the things the character has and fi...

Do Villains test Surge?

I hope this hasn't been brought up already, I tried searching the forums and the FAQ and couldn't find anything. I noticed today there are no Drama cards with "V Surge." I'm wondering if the intent is that Surge is a hero only problem, or that it applies to both sides at the same time? The...

Re: Roll20 Sheet Update

Roll20 has a built in system for translating, which it sounds like you already know of. It's relatively simple to set up as far as I can tell. Adding it to the existing one shouldn't be too hard, tho might be quite tedious. Still definitely better than making a new, German only sheet. If need be I m...
