Re: Roll20 Sheet Update

Roll20 has a built in system for translating, which it sounds like you already know of. It's relatively simple to set up as far as I can tell. Adding it to the existing one shouldn't be too hard, tho might be quite tedious. Still definitely better than making a new, German only sheet. If need be I m...

Re: Roll20 Sheet Update

I would suggest checking out https://wiki.roll20.net/CSS_Wizardry , they have a lot of neat tricks you can pull off, including hiding stuff. For the specific of hiding the power skills, I'd probably put a checkbox in the same area I put the advanced roll option, the little box you bring up by clicki...

Re: Roll20 Sheet Update

Edit to add: I hate Beginner's guides. They always make me feel like I need a "pre-beginner's guide" I made a GitHub account and I think I made a Character Sheet submission (I hope). Took a look at the open pull requests on github, don't think I see yours. Just some opinions, which others ...

Re: Roll20 Sheet Update

I took the powers off the main page (moved to the powers page), shifted interactions to that table, moved Reality to its own table (allowing adjustments to attribute, as i use Cha) and did a permanent Find on the others table as that is a very commonly used skill. I am not a computer person by any ...

Roll20 Sheet Update

Little late but thought it might be useful to let everyone know I made some changes to the sheet on Roll20. Specifically, I added an option for buttons in the roll results that handle Up/Possibility/Coup-de-gras rerolls. Optional because it's built on a mildly hacky abuse of the roll20 initiative sy...

Re: Question about oTorg five realms

... Nobody complains when a video game NPC tells their character, "Push the (B) button to activate..." ... My favorite example has the main character reply with "button? What button? What are you on about you crazy old man?" Also Chroma squad, where npcs occasionally address &qu...

Re: Stealth modifiers and limitations

One thing you could do is have one check for the group but have the worst stealth character roll out instead of the highest. Perhaps allowing the better character(s) to assist somehow.

Re: Perk Tree: Gun Kata

I think rather than making an exception to that rule, perhaps it can give you a Flurry, but one of the actions must be Active Defense. Personally I prefer multi action, just because it creates more of a choice and doesn't add an extra die roll. With the flurry variation there's no reason to ever no...

Re: Perk Tree: Gun Kata

Maybe a perk that lets you multi action an active defense when defense is approved? (if I'm remembering correctly that you normally can't multi action defense.)

Re: Card Questions

I think I might just halve the damage, round down, and otherwise leave it as is. That way it's much less likely to just be soak or test defeat (1 in 9 rather than 1 in 3) and even when it is it's more likely a standard or good soak will be enough to prevent defeat, rather than requiring an outstandi...
