Re: Female orcs and life outside an oppressive culture

I understand, from what I've read on Kupfermond was kidnapped and taken from her tribe, she didn't run away on her own, then returned to her people so there is no examples or precedent of any female orcs running away from their tribes, at least none that survived doing so. That's why I brought up th...

Re: Female orcs and life outside an oppressive culture

Kupfermond could make a good basis for a female orc character (whether an NPC or PC) in a Svelt or Orkland campaign. The character could be a disciple/apprentice of the Rikai priestess.

Re: Female orcs and life outside an oppressive culture

Oh absolutely, I'm just curious on the idea of female orcs possibly running off for a possible different life. I'd wager that goblins would be their best bet as they are on friendly terms and wouldn't require making a long trek to places like Thorwal or Festum. I figured going to Middenrealm or the ...

Re: Questions about Orcs and Goblins

The nations of Aventuria seem more focused on reclaiming lands lost to Borbarad (a powerful demonologist who had become a demi-god) after his defeat, the Orklands/Svelt have a lot of orcs living there. The orcs have a kingdom with nobility and two languages, a common tongue and one spoken by only th...

Female orcs and life outside an oppressive culture

I know, another post about those pesky black pelts, I just love them too much I guess :P I was wondering if orc females ever try to escape their lives in the oppressive culture they are born into (since from what I've read orc women are treated as little more than breeding stock and possessions, not...

Re: English TDE Books

Many many years ago I found in an English bookstore „the charlatan“ by Kiesow himself Looked around on amazon and found it, it's listed as Realms of Arkania: The Charlatan. Likely connected with the Northlands Trilogy that came out in the early 90's. I may pick that up since I'm in the midst of a p...

Re: Elves And Spellcasting

The advantage is factored into the AP cost of the race, so you still purchase it when you purchase the Elf race.

Re: English TDE Books

Very true but I can't seem to find any other The Dark Eye novels in English unless they made some for 4th ed.

Re: English TDE Books

I'll look around a bit and let you know, Morgoth.

EDIT: Upon checking, the only other English novel I could find was "The Dark Eye - The Andergastan" on Ulisses North America's site.
