Re: Nile Empire Kickstarter

Sorry to interrupt, but will there be late pledges for this KS? It will probably be a good month before I have enough free money to back this.

Re: Yay, the LL book is here!!!

So, if I haven't gotten the box or a shipping notification yet (in the EU), should I worry? Or is this one of those situations where the boxes are shipped out over the course of a week or two? False alarm, the box arrived today. But, does anyone else have a misprint on one of the blip sheets in the...

Re: Yay, the LL book is here!!!

Received mine today even though FedEx said it wouldn't arrive until tomorrow. That doesn't happen very often and is a nice surprise.

Re: Mind Control (Both Kinds)

My impression of the ability is that you aren't "telling the puppet what to do" but rather that you're controlling them like a marionette. If the puppet moves his arm up it isn't because I've told him to move his arm up but that I'm the one who moved his arm up.

Re: Boring Glories

I suppose it's also possible that the roll triggers a story but the story isn't necessarily accurate. For example, a Nile convoy is traveling through a narrow pass. Re: Psi and the Social Axiom

I always figured that a spell which does "X" does "X" regardless of where you are. If the cosm can't support that then it just won't work. That said, I figure there are aspects of magic that are better in a high axiom situation; it just doesn't relate to what the spell does. In a...

Re: How do people pull stelea?

Wasn't there an example in oTorg where Quinn and The Yellow Crab were physically pulling up a stelae? I seem to recall it having to do with them realizing that people were dying as a result - Crab was to set the stelae back down but Quinn insists they keep pulling it out. Don't know if that is canon...

The card text is "Mobs may not cooperate on tests."

I've checked my email and Spam/Junk folder and I have not received the email. What should I do?

Re: Super Disconnection

So even if the attribute is withing that cosm's allowed range it's still a disconnect? Because it's the source of the Dexterity and not the score itself?

Re: Perk costs for spells/miracles/psi powers

I imagine that there will be Beta level perks that will make high-end spellcasters feel more, well, high end.
