Re: [Homerule] Expanded armoury

Yea, having some options that do not confer an obvious mechanical advantage are still nice to have. If it has no effect as per game mechanics - no special rules (that of a weapon modification) are needed at all, IMHO. It still needs value and rarity (and obviously a description). It is not like eve...

Re: [Homerule] Expanded armoury

Bonus consideration: expanded armoury for drugs and other "performance enhancing" substances. Fully sanctioned ones only, of course.

Re: [Homerule] Expanded armoury

5. Vox-operated (ranged weapons only, weapon can be operated with voice commands) Unfortunately, this would make no difference from the point of game's mechanic. However, such custom peculiarity (added to add flavour to the particular gun) may actually come as part of purchasing the "Trademark...

Re: [Homerule] Expanded armoury

Some weapon customization that may be worth a conversion (from Only War again), with my suggested effects: 1. Sacred Inscriptions (+1d to Resolve vs pinning) 2. Home materials (+1d to Resolve vs fear) 3. Reduced weight (20% less weight, but breaks upon any complication, when broken attacks are made ...

Re: [Homerule] Expanded armoury

The ammunition shouldn't exist so that tier 1-2 characters have easy access to good AP, it should exist so that the Munitorium can provide a special ammo reload to imperial guardsmen for a particular mission. Munitorum actually have hand-held anti-armour options for the Imperial Guard - plasma gun,...

Any chance that there can be a preview/timeline? I was kind of expecting regular releases for W&G (perhaps every 2 months) but apparently the next release is only in 2019.

Re: [Homerule] Expanded armoury

And than I again remind you -both the "conventional" solid-slug "custom-added" sniper rifle and the long-las sniper rifle from the rulebook are meant for Tier 1-2 campaigns. That's where resilience of Troop and Elite level enemies is 10 or below and where adversaries get 12 resi...

Re: [Homerule] Expanded armoury

... Wrath & Glory does provide for such - for example, "sniper (1)" special quility of the weapon in question. Armour/AP also worked very differently. Per example, as per FFG's Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader/Only War count for 6 armour points while in Wrath & Glory terminator armour pro...

Re: [Homerule] Expanded armoury

I'm not too concerned with the damage capability; just that I think a projectile sniper rifle should have AP. But why do you think it should have that in the first place? First of all - a boltgun (.75 caliber mass-reactive armour piercing shells that is) is AP 0. And that's not too supportive on gi...
