I’d love to see more info on the Tau as well, but to be able to play them. Making them as NPC would help me out as well. Anyone working on this?

Just wrapped up our first campaign. We had a ball. Rules allowed us to skip across large actions and zoom down to single attacks beautifully. A few inconsistencies in the rules, but once we had those in hand the rules blended beautifully into the action.

Anyone else finished up a campaign?

In general, I think the best feature is the streamlining of the rules. ... As you can see, this is wildly inconsistent in many places - for meltaguns vs plasma guns, for example, based on the BS of the carrier, the cost comparisons are 7/12 and 13/17; these values are not the same distance apart in absolute (5 vs 4) or relative (1.71 vs 1.31) terms. Personally, I'd think about giving Meltagun Unwieldy 1 or 2. Tanks being Huge would be nice targets - as they give +2d to hit them for size modifier, but hitting smaller targets like infantry (especially infantry who dodge) proving difficult. I'm sorry but you do realise that a melta weapon is for taking out tanks like Land Raiders etc, so a dude in power armour is a goner. If say taht someone in power armour can take a melta then you need something else to deal with tanks or you devalue them. Also weapons and armour should not be tied ...
