Re: Just bought the pdf so I've some questions

Since it's like: Blessings - Cantrips Liturgical Chants - Spells Ceremonies - Rituals I would say they don't count towards the limit. Another reason would be that the Blessings, which are something like "smaller Liturgical Chants" don't count as well (with the Ceremonies being "bigge...

Re: Just bought the pdf so I've some questions

How I see it: Blessings : A Blessed One has to acquire all 12 Blessings for 12 AP (page 324) Liturgical Chants : You can choose up to 12 Liturgical Chants (if you are an ‘Experienced’ level character) and you choose from those available to your tradition or the generic ones Ceremonies : You have acc...

But I don't know what the result was.

Re: Just bought the pdf so I've some questions

After going through the rules I am sure that Ceremonies are treated like skills are as far as obtaining and improving them are concerned As for if counting toward the 12 limit as defined on page 39, I'd say they don't, because table 39 specifically mentions 'Spells' and 'Liturgical Chants' but nothi...

Re: Just bought the pdf so I've some questions

So, do Ceremonies count towards the allotted 12 as detailed on page 39?

If not, can you buy as many Ceremonies as you can afford?

Re: Just bought the pdf so I've some questions

I think you just activate Ceremonies at character creation, and then raise them during character creation (and after play begins) like you do with skills

At least that is how I see them; to be treated exactly like skills are when it comes to obtaining them and improving them.

Re: Rounding

So you round to the nearest whole number except when using the QL table which is rounding up.

Easier to say just round up

Rounding

Page 16 Rounding Up and Down If a calculation within the game results in a fraction, simply round the number mathematically (that is, if the result is 0.5 or higher, round up, and if it is less, round down). Exceptions to this rule are always stated clearly. Page 23 Yet the QL Table has a rounding ...

Re: Just bought the pdf so I've some questions

I'm a little confused now as how to include Ceremonies. This is all I can find on Ceremonies within the rules. Page 308 "Ceremonies are the Blessed equivalent of magic rituals—at their core, ceremonies are liturgical chants, but they usually take more time to perform and have a much stronger ef...
