Re: Corruption Perks

Curse of Lycanthropy I would make the DN harder (DN 18 - Heroic) and on a failure the GM takes over the character but has no memory of what happens until they wake up. Makes a great story hook waking up with your arms soaked in blood with no memory of what happened. I'd eliminate the Str+1 and make...

Re: House Rules

Thanks, that's really helpful. We were OTorg fanatics back in the day and think USNA have done a fantastic job with TorgE, but there's nothing like actual lived experience to iron out kinks in new rules for any system. Something I do want to point out. There are other Perks from other realities tha...

Re: oTorg adventure Before the Dawn - lots of spoilers

Okay, just finished reading the Day one Adventures, overall good stuff! Proceeding to yank out the good bits and re-purpose. I'm going to start Before the Dawn with "The Lost World" Act 2; Scene 2 of the Living Land Day One adventure. I'll use the handouts and let the players poke around ...

Re: Cyberpapacy Detective

I'm looking forward to the new TorgE Cyberpapacy with more integrated cybertechnology, but I hope its 18 Social Axiom (and the fact that the Cyberchurch theocracy is an obsolete and reactionary "Ancien Régime" even under that Axiom) won't be forgotten. (And the two important historical mo...

Re: Beta Doesn't seam to be a big enough deal

My thought was going with 3 XP per Act that's not the end of an adventure but 5 XP for final Acts or single Act adventures. But I think my players would freak now with how long it takes to save up for stuff in mid-Beta if I tried to implement it heh That's probably the structure I'll adopt going fo...

Schauermarchen

This is a small-scale RPG by John Wick (not, not the movie version). With a bit of work it would make for a weirdly awesome Orrorsh adventure.

Re: New Perk - Swashbucker Question

Hey All- I am working on a charismatic swordsman type character. Not sure about cosm of origin yet, but Nile seems to be the most appropriate. The Sword of Justice archetype includes a new perk called Swashbuckler which is perfect for my guy. However, I'm a little confused about how it is supposed ...

Re: Cyberpapacy Detective

Social 18: Capitalism, socialism, communism drive national economies. Theories of the subconscious and collective unconscious emerge. Figure that since The Church basically is the government, the Cyberpapacy is driven by socialism in the sense that "the government owns the means of production.&...
