Re: Aysle Sourcebook Q&A Thread

Stating in advance that I know this is extremely unlikely though all things are possible in TORG - especially if backed up by a Martyr card. Anyway if someone with the Exorcism Perk successfully performed an exorcism on Thorfinn Bjanni does Uthorian's spirit get banished to some netherworld for a y...

Re: The Reality Choir: A sourcebook for the Covert Reality War

I realize that. But I saw the false flag operation as a stroke of genius, so it'll take me a little time to change my mindframe away from this. It's not about false flag so much as wolves in sheep's clothing and devils you know. I agree with most of what you write, but the unleashing of demons to p...

Re: PC Ravagons

I'll give them the edeinos stat block with Outsider and Claws and then their two starting perks are Flight and Armor. In the interest of keeping PCs flexible, I think the Armor could be an optional perk. Just like some edeinos are tougher than others, some ravagons can be tougher than others. Or we...

Re: PC Ravagons

By the time in the old war that Ravagons stated rebelling, the other PCs were expected to have some hefty experience behind them. When your party no longer feared the appearance of a Ravagon, it wasn't to overpowering to add one to the group. As for balance, Edeinos have an option for flight(ish) a...

Re: PC Ravagons

Fair points. Okay, let's add Altered axioms: While Ravagons hail from Orrorsh and are considered to be of that reality, their personal axioms are slightly different Magic: 0; Social: 12; Spiritual: 18 Tech: 8 Not only are Ravagons open to disconnection for using tools/concepts higher than their pers...

Re: The Reality Choir: A sourcebook for the Covert Reality War

To be fair, that was the point of Pan-Pacifica (and kind of still is). The Cyberpapacy was very much "We're winnin' the world for Cyber-Jesus!" The actual nation-states are scared to death of the Cyberpapacy. Where the CPs make progress is local, religiously inclined populations who enjoy...

Re: The Reality Choir: A sourcebook for the Covert Reality War

Honestly, I think that's more interesting as it maintains the CP's "false flag" approach. I'll need a few fixes, but I think I've found how to stick to canon on most things. But yeah, if it becomes canon that the entire world thinks of the Cyberpapacy as an enemy, I'll need to deviate a b...

PC Ravagons

One of the bits I really liked from Old TORG was the introduction of Ravagons as playable characters just due to the "Darth Vader effect" (there are few things more inspiring and encouraging than watching something that scared the piss out out of you going after one of your enemies). So, t...
