Transformation (what does it look like in your games?)
I'm curious what transformation actually looks like in your games. For example: ⋅ Are people still themselves but can't remember how stuff works? I.e. they remember all their past history but now they can't get a toaster to work. ⋅ Or is it more like altering a timeline where whe...

Re: Aysle Preview #4 - Uthorion
One really interesting thing to note is that with a Mind of 19, Uthorian is actually smarter than supervillain super-genius Dr. Mobius (Mind of 18). Whatever else Uthorian is, he's emphatically not a dumbass barbarian who can throw Fireballs. Right now, he's the smartest of the High Lords so far. I...

That's a cool idea. Plus could be subtler than dropping a bridge. Maybe have a stranger with no name show up from Jonestown on Gaea who has been looking for the Gaunt Man's secret canyon fortress.

Re: Aysle Preview #3 - Perks
I just want to say love everything so far. And...for a friend...hoping the baby drake can be taken by non-elves (and maybe non Aysle folks with cosm adaptation) without spending a boatload of experience points.

Re: House rule so PCs can own personal vehicles -- thoughts?
It's kind of frustrating that even the Wealthy Perk makes it nearly impossible for a PC to start with a personal vehicle. Your only canonical option is to talk the GM into letting you buy one of the lowest-end vehicles from Nile, and start with almost no other gear. You can't even afford a Kawasaki...

Will the Aysle book reveal who this is?

Re: Cosm Adaptation
So, the SK who takes this perk, for "Flight" say, can ignore the first time they disconnect each act, mitigating the 4 Case factor. And if they also take Adaptable, then it isn't a contradiction at all in the Nile or Wonders. That's neat. Expensive, but neat. Sorta like a mixed cosm Core ...

Re: Is Psionic Technology possible...?
Pan-Pacifica has the feel of the Nile Empire to me. It's going to have sooooooooooooooooo much stuff in it. Ha, if there was a slack-like thumbs up I would be using it instead of replying. Since I replied, I'll just add that I imagine this will include some form of psi inhibitors. Collars, drugs, e...

Re: Custom Spirit Perk
Thanks for all the advice. I'm actually using this in game to reflect spirits rather than hand wave it, but it may just be NPCs. On further reflection, I'll probably add a similar cha/persuasion limitation to edeinos.

Re: Kaiji and Mecha in Pan-Pacifica
It would be interesting to stick with the bio-punk theme and maybe go with a guyver style suit instead. In my own Pan-Pacifica, that's how I describe the electric samurai, anyways. :p
