Re: Living Land... in London?!?!? (Funny thing I saw on Twitter)

Re: Thratchen?

Dr. Hachi Mara found out how to use Storm Knights for generating dimthreads without a Darkness Device. She also built a dimensional looking device. Quin Sebastian probably came into contact with Mara at some point in the oTorg war though I never saw it mentioned anywhere. Not to mention that Kadandr...

So these scholar (special skill) give the GM an idea what the character should know. Of course, a character from Core...

Re: A child born from parents from two different cosms...

I'd say it would depend on where the child was born as the land gives you the reality, not the parents

Re: Dramatic Skill Resolution

The Leverage RPG and subsequent versions of the Cortex Plus engine have certainly informed my game design philosophy over the past five years. I didn't know there was a leverage RPG out there. Thank you for that hint, I surely will have to buy it as the TV serial is one of my favorites (though the ...

Re: Clarification on Scholar Skill, Please

Ok, there comes another house rule for me. I will certainly make some different scholar skills based on broad categories of education (for the relevant realm) i.e. the players tell me what background training their character should have and write down scholar (relevant background training), f.i. the...

Re: Firing Into Melee

Re: Firing Into Melee

---Now, THAT said, I do think allowing a called shot when you're shooting at a Large or Very Large creature in melee with normal creatures would be appropriate. So, for those of us (like me) who think the rule is not very plausible, we should simply ignore it and go for a called shot instead, adjus...
