Re: Delphi Council Missions BookDelphi just came out!

I think the thing you are dealing with is expectation vs. reality. US just cranked out 12 scenarios in all realms and packed them into ONE book. If you look at an original TORG compilation, like Full Moon Draw, they only have 5/6 one act adventures in them. So, yes, there are glitches (My "favo...

Re: Delphi Council Session - Gen Con 2017

Also important, as it was ratified as a Delphi Council rule: Never set anything on fire while your party is still in it.

Re: Possible Axiom changes during the war

I think most of the bumps could be possible, but the designers might be hesitant to bump up too much in a "creep". The only one I would say won't happen would be Tharkold's magic axiom. It is stated that it is going down, not up.

Re: Faith and Ward Enemy

I can't remember the page number, but it's in the creature section towards the end. A sidebar the "defines" supernatural evil. It also states that any undead count, so mummy's count.

Re: The Storyteller Perk

I like the idea of the storyteller perk. If you are looking for a meta game reason why players might want to take the perk, consider this: The player only triggers the perk when a glory is played, but, for the next game month, in that area, he can "draw" another three possibilities at the ...

Re: Preview #9 - The Drama, Destiny, and Cosm Decks

I know this may seem a little too...glib of an answer, but usually my group can get through an act every session. About eleven we are rolling into the final scene, which might end within 10 minutes, or might last till one. Whatever it is, we all know when the dust settles, roleplaying is over for th...

Re: getting rid of the silly aspects of Torg

Tia, first off, I thought about how I wanted to post this without it sounding smug or insulting. This is not my intent. I hold EVERYONE who role-plays in high regard, and GMs are almost always under appreciated. I think Jim has it right in saying most of us have looked at the rules as stated and hav...

Re: getting rid of the silly aspects of Torg

First, to cyberware. If I remember the sneak peaks, the cyberware issue mentioned that the perk would grant a certain amount of money for cyberware purchases, but then mentioned that you could still purchase cyberware without the perk, but it came with back street purchase risks. This would seem to ...

Re: Preview #4 - Core Earth and the Living Land

I always felt that while Orrorsh was a classic horror realm, Tharkold was Terror. There is a real difference on how those two, play out. Horror can go a full act with no true interaction between villain and hero, where terror is up front slasherporn ala the Saw franchise. Gore and death are prevalent...

Re: Romance cards!

Nile Empire, my group were fighting a group of villians based off the four elements. Air was a extremely sexual female clad in wisps of clouds. The romance card combined with inclination seduction resulted in her falling head over heals with a Orroshian poet who was very uncomfortable with the whole...
