Re: Full Living Land Kickstarter Preview
Here's an idea that might be a little late given the original design: have you given any thought to making the possibility chips blue and red? I bought a bunch of those for my oTorg game - they were hard to find in the UK but worth the effort. I am torn between agreeing with your post because they ...

Re: Game Speed
I haven't noticed the bonus die or transparency slowing things down too much in our Eternity game - a little, perhaps, but it's fun to roll dice and watch for the open-ended roll, so that's not a huge problem. Classy.
Dumbed down from what? That's how original Torg worked too.
Torg RE codified a more specialised approach to skills, rebalancing the point-buy system to compensate for the fact that your character points need to cover more skills now.
How would your house rules address that?

Well, it's less of a desire to protect anything than it is a desire to suggest a more optimistic perspective. But I take your points and I think Wotan's mea culpa shows good character

Re: Living Land Kickstarter Preview
I don't dispute any of that - I think it would be great if everyone could get all the items they wanted. I dispute the inference that USNA are happy to burn the fanbase's goodwill in order to make a quick buck.

Re: Living Land Kickstarter Preview
it would be hard to see it as anything other than US deciding that they're willing to burn the fan base's goodwill in order to potentially net themselves some extra cash in the short term. :( You could see it as what Simon said it was - a warehousing issue - instead of ascribing uncharitable motiva...
